debs has been in touch, so i sent a note back saying that for now, we hope to have all cards mailed by december 22 and that if she can, we hope she'll give the cards to the guys in early january :D

i wonder how often she'll check the box...i told her that lots seem to have been sent already, so not to be surprised if there's stuff in the box already. when this is all over, i'd like to have her estimate on how many cards there were! :D

maybe! depending on when and where they were sent from, of course :D. i sent my stuff off last friday, and the postcards take about a week, so they should get there soon!

 

but my letter to debs, which i had to send differently, was two-days postage, so it should have gotten there a while ago :wacky:

i mailed mine off today. Pris, i didnt post them cause i am too shy about art stuff. I love Cris_Santos's charlie brown theme. i am so un creative. basically NY postcard with the logo and lots of butterlfy stuff. but i poured my heart out (not too stalky- freaky-mushy) and asked them to please play some old stuff (Warning Sign ,Carla)

she seemed really touched by the whole project, so we know that we're doing it right so far! everybody, KEEP SENDING!! we want an INNUNDATION of postcards! :nice:

 

also, debs told me that she spoke with the band's PA today and is going to see the guys in early january to drop off the cards, but that the guys don't know that's why she's coming, so it'll be a nice surprise :D

 

she also said that she was glad that the guys didn't write a song called "billboards from far away," because then she'd have major trouble lugging them all to london and remaining conspicuous during her visit :lol:

 

so...KEEP SENDING, EVERYONE!!! our plan has worked out perfectly so far, and the more cards, the more awesome the project will be.

the idea is to print a little logo (from the one sposted here) and put it on the postcard... if you can't print it, you can just write postcards from far away / coldplaying.com and everything will be ok :)

it was such a good feeling when I finally got to send my postcards off and the post employee was totally irritated by the postcards from far away logo because I pasted it onto the postcards and she thought it would have been the actual stamp :)

 

btw Debs should take an invisible camera with her when she delivers the postcards to the guys I'd so loooooove to see their reactions :D (but I know this project is not supposed to await any reaction but the very thought of their faces is sooooo pleasing :wacky: )
