DVD of VLV Tour

Featured Replies

Releasing Chicago would be a huge mistake on their part.

A. That buildings acoutics suck.

B. It was Leg 1 when they were still getting to know the songs.

They will record on their post Xmas tour!

Step A isnt a bad part.

That because they recorded it direct from the amps and PA and Mixers.

They don't record the instruments from the crowd..

They only have microphones there to record the crowd! ;)

i sure hope so!

like others said, this is definetly the most visually pleasing tour of the bunch

I dont think they are going to do it, the reason the filmed Chicago was for the music video for LIJ. So now I see some doubt.

If they do put out a live DVD i hope it has a live CD to go with it, like live 2003! :D

@Arsenal007: They filmed more things. Some people reported cameras doring the whole show. And we saw an excerpt of Glass of Water. If they're not going to release a DVD, they'll release something else (another video, other excerpts, I don't know).

Problem is the band are so precious about anything that they put out, even if they have the intention of recording a dvd will they be happy enough with the outcome to actually release it?!

I thought it would be cool if they made one for every concert and shipped to people who wanted to buy. Or maybe buy it on coldplay.com :)

you mean lost, don't you?

That would be way to expensive. I think that there is a big enough market that people would def. buy the DVD. It would be nice if they could do it in Blu- Ray. I think we should start a petition to show them how many people would in fact buy it.

*I am making the the thread now.

Yeah, they most likley are going to do one where they sound the best!!!!!!!!

They will record and release Wembley. You'll see...

I hope it's as brilliant as live 2003

It would be great if there was a DVD for every concert but there will be only one, it's better than nothing. Which concert will it be ? Time will tell.

There are some filmers at Munich 2008, Mannheim 2008, and much other concerts. I think they are planning to release a DVD! But I hope, only one song at one city.

For example: Mannheim: Cemetries of London

Straßbourg: Strawberry Swing..

..and so on.

And I really hope to can expect and DVD of VLVODAAHF Tour 2008/2009!

I had a dream.

I got a "Coldplay Live 2009" DVD as Christmas present.

It had a blue cover, and about 9 tracks.

Let me try to remember the tracklist...

01 Life In Technicolor

02 Violet Hill

03 42

04 Lost!

05 Yellow

06 Speed of Sound

07 Viva La Vida

08 Lovers In Japan

09 Fix You

I wanna see the Wembely one, and and I want a documentry. That'd be soooooo brilliant!!!!!!

Oh yeah! i would love Viva La Vida DVD, but a DVD from Wembley .. that would be amazing!!!

Yes, a DVD from a stadium would be great!

Of course, I'd love one from the Parc des Princes!!
