David Tennant Quits Doctor Who!!!

Featured Replies

Captain Jack is such a tongue in cheek character.

Anyway, Russell T Davies is shit, there is one writer who I really like, can't remember his name but his Dr Who episodes are normally really good, he did the gasmasks in WWII London one, when Eccleston was the Doctor, that one was amaizng

i loved Eccleston as the doctor the most...their is no way he can come back can he?..they could easily work it into the script/story i think

I thought Christopher Eccleston was better as well but they're all good! :D

Stephan Moffat, who is taking over!

Yeah I knew he was taking over as well, Russell's episodes were so shit in the last season, the wasp one being the worst of the lot

huh?

In the early episodes, it was said that the Doctor could only regenerate 10 times, so the regeneration into the 11th doctor would be the 10th time.

Murp!

It's 13 regenerations for 14 Doctors in total. And the writers have already said they're going to have to find a way around it some day. It does seem to be a bit arbitrary- from what I understand the Master found ways to snitch extra regenerations and was given more by the timelords when he agreed to fight in the time war.
The first series is so tongue in cheek, cheesy and hilarious

2nd season was actually amazing though, well written, well acted, just all round great

Torchwood was kind of aimed at Buffy/Angel fans so I gather, I didn't think it was half as good as either, I think it might be better if they got rid of Barrowtwat.

I think Steven Moffat is a great Dr Who writer too, the libary epidoes had me frightened of shadows for a good few days afterwards:D

I thought is was 12 times...?

Anyway, Chris Martin for the next Doctor! :sneaky:

CT as the next doctor

Wikipedia is right for once:

'The serial The Deadly Assassin established that a Time Lord can regenerate twelve times, for a total of thirteen incarnations (although at least one Time Lord, The Master, has managed to circumvent this). To date, the Doctor has gone through this process and its resulting after-effects on nine occasions...'

But it doesn't really matter anymore, so long as there is popular demand for the series to continue, a way will be found around it.

I completely agree (especially about the "Wasp" one, which was truly awful).

There was far too much comedy for my liking.

This is old news!

That rather depends on what time period you happen to be in.................

I think Buffy and Angel are both shit.

I think Buffy and Angel are both shit.

And yet both have at least as big if not bigger cult following worldwide than Dr Who and certainly far eclipse Torchwood, Dr Who will carry on, Torchwood, won't be remembered and I doubt greatly missed.
