February 1, 200917 yr FINALLY the Habs won. I didn't know there was a hockey thread here. You think the Habs were in a slump? My Canucks havn't won since January 7th. 8 game losing streak. Lost tonight too. It's almost amusing how painful it is.

Him and Burrows are the only ones who can actually do just about anything these days. I was just watching a Canucks DVD with features and interviews from before the lockout. Makes me so nostalgic. Sure we weren't very successful then either, but it was better hockey. :(

Definitely better than Minnesota, and I think they deserved the win. Only positive out of this is that they got a point out of it. They better not fire AV because of this.

Which we totally havn't been able to. Finish is just as imprtant as creating chances. :( Personally, I've pretty much disliked AV from teh day he was hired. So I wouldn't mind. That being said, I don't see it happening unless we lose like 3 more in a row or something. :P Which might be a possibility at this point.

February 1, 200917 yr Author Man, too bad Sedin took that penalty last night. I was pretty excited when Kesler tied it up. But Sundin, whats up with him? I think it was a big mistake for him sitting out so long before deciding to return. They didn't even have him on the ice in the final minute last night.
February 2, 200917 yr Gillis did say that he isn't going to fire AV and was surprised that people were even thinking about that. I don't think that firing him at this point of the season would do much. The team just needs to start playing for a full 60 minutes. Yeah. He'll have to do something if it keeps going this way. I don't think firing AV will fix these problems anyways. But at least the guy will be gone. I think we'll pick it up before any rash changes happen anyways. I did however read an article today where MG said his patience was really short right about now.
