Though I will give you this it is harder for a woman to tell what her limit is because the pressure to keep up with the men is there, but our metabolisms work differently and can't process as much.

Well you've actually hit the nail on the head right there. Women should not feel pressured to "keep up" with guys who should know better in the first place.

Girls used to be far more sensible, but now they just act in the same moronic manner as the lager lout guys, which is very sad indeed.

And you're right about the difference in physiology as far as alcohol is concerned.

Girls get affected far quicker by smaller quantities, and succumb to alcohol-related health problems (e.g. liver damage) far quicker too.

This should all be taken into consideration.

I think I've noticed that in social situations involving alcohol and immature young adults, the guys tend to be just as immature when they're drunk as when they're not drunk, but the girls tend to turn into Paris Hilton (squared) once they've downed a few beers.

 

Part of it is psychological, I think. I bet if you put out non-alcoholic beverages and claimed they contained alcohol, people would act stupid and drunk nonetheless.
