a-chan Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 UPDATE: 17th January 2008 Coldplay failed to pick up any awards they were nominated for at tonight's NRJ Awards in Cannes, France, but Chris Martin did pick up the NRJ Music Honors Award on behalf of the whole band. He also played a solo piano version of the new single 'Life In Technicolor ii' towards the end of the ceremony. Below is the first available image of Chris's performance. Speaking in French afterwards, he said, "Mon français est comme une voiture cassé...c'est long (my french is like a rusty car, it's take time to go on...). He also added that he was sorry for being alone and that the other ones were on the beach eating ice creams.
