ha ha i think now my feet wont touch the groun is very thoughtful it describes the feeling of being so happy or so satisfied that it feels as if you are on to of the world. so to have it in more than one song is allright

I saw this as a sort of theme to be honest. I liked how it featured in three songs.

 

I almost wonder if the three songs it feautured in were sort of three different reasons why his feet weren't touching the ground (gotta laugh at saying it like that).

 

Strawberry Swing seems to be for his kids.

 

Life in Technicolor 2 talks about love - aka as his wife.

 

Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground talks about "boys" and must be the band probably. Meaning they keep him above the ground too.

 

So the idea is really just love but on three different levels.
