i think, even though i rather send the obama card i posted a few pages previously, i'll have to send the bush one. the obama one never printed properly, in quality or on the right paper or in the exact right size, so it just looks so much less professional than the bush one, which i printed long before my printer decided to go crazy. i like the look of that one better, if not the mood/message :\

 

i'm sending everything off tomorrow! i just finished writing out my postcards on the templates :D

I´m not good at anything related with craft, hand made things and stuff :embarassed:,so I decided to include one of my pics. I didnt really thought about it, I was just proud of the one I choose cause is probably my best pic ever, but thinking about it I feel it very related with the whole viva la vida thing.

 

Now, the back of my postcards where actually aweful aweful :embarassed: but well, I can´t do miracles... and I completely forgot to take a pic of the front of the bought one I sent! :( bUT It was a pic of Mexico city by night.. anyway, this is my postcard:

i do hope people don't think that the point of this thread is to show off artistic abilities and make people feel inadequate :\. i meant it to be all about sharing the cards with each other so we can see all the prettiness, but people are saying things about being to embarrassed to post their cards or prefacing them with so many comments about how they're not worthy that i'm beginning to feel a bit guilty :P

 

i sent off my two cards today, along with the letter to debs! i'll post the final photos tomorrow, but i think the lady at the post office thought i was insane. she chuckled at the george bush postcard, and was eyeing the logo on everything intently :lol:

the lady at the post office made me write united kingdom.. in a envelope which already had UK written in there ¬¬

(but kinda) homemade cards.

 

So like I said, I'm not artistic or creative, so when I stopped procrastinating (another of my faults:\) I turned to the internet to find some already-made postcards. At first I looked for New Jersey ones, but they were all boring, and then I found this site...ZAZZLE

 

It's really cool, they have a bunch of stuff you could make with your own designs you can upload, or using a template. And you could buy whatever quantities you'd need! (And shipping was pretty fast, too.) So I found two that I liked, and uploaded the PFFAW project logo, and ordered 1 of each :D

So, as you can see, nothing compared to the postcards people have show so far--they are all AWESOME!:D--but so much better than I could do w/ just pen&paper. I haven't figured out what I'm going to write on the second one, that's why no pic of that one.

I like :) and as far as creativity goes, its as much the love & thought that's gone into the postcard. If you've chosen that card because it reflects how you feel, then that's great. not everyone can be creative, but everyone can share their Coldplay love.
