Ok here is my postcard. It is an antique postcard from the early 1900's. It is hard to see in the picture but it has violets with the gold embossed background (my daughter is named Violet and we are both going to sign it).

 

 

It says on the front (sorry, I know the pic is blurry)

In remembrance true and kind,

Take a friendly greeting,

Just to say you're borne in mind,

Though we are not meeting.

i felt like a dork when i told him that i had made them, but he seemed to like them!!!!!:lol:

 

& as it turned out, mexican stamps are also stickers!!! when did that happen i have no idea!!! :P

 

just one thing.... the stupid sticker stamp is rectangular, so it ended up covering a part of the PFFA logo......... :\

ahh, same with me, the stupid sticker stamp was a huge rectangle, but i think i managed OK for myself :P

 

glad to know i wasn't the only one! my clerk lady more gave a raised eyebrow, but she gave a real, audible chuckle when she saw the front of my bush one :P

BREAKING NEWS!!!: coldplay just got nominated for best album of the year. maybe I can wish them luck(though that sounds cheesy...lol!!)

i would say to all people that have a hard time thinking of what to write: try to think of a time when coldplay really helped you or something, like a song that got you through a rough time, and thank them for it.

 

i would say keep it short and as personal as you can (though i went the general route :P). if all else fails, just say thanks for all they've given us this year :D

I bought mine (nobody is perfect :\)!! The second is a postcard of the city where I live but I don't think it's beautiful (maybe because I live in a city which is not really beautiful :dozey:)!
