Taylor was an idol of mine when I was growing up, and was maybe 14 or 15.

 

This is just a case of him maybe expressing too much of an opinion.

I'm sure chris wouldn't like anything slipknot have done

but I'm certain that he wouldn't have been as outspoken about it because chris is a good person.

 

This doesn't change my opinion of Taylor or of slipknot.

Most people who listen to metal are dickheads and opinionated anyways

I don't think it's too offensive considering who it's coming from. I suppose it could be taken as more of an attack. it's definitely not very nice.

but they don't wear masks as a gimmick. Most of them play in various other bands without the masks, Corey Taylor himself is in the band 'Stone Sour' -you might have heard some of their stuff, it's really good actually.

 

and in the metal world, Slipknot are right on top of a very high pedestal.

Though their latest album was pretty weak in comparison.

Oh if only. I'd love to see him on i'm a celeb in an underground coffin. I'd lock him in there though. No escape and only cockroaches for company.
