Another day ends without an announcement of USA tour dates:cry: But there is always tomorrow! And I envy all of you that have Internet connection with your iPod touch in school. My school locks all of their connections so i can't get in making the anticipation build up until I can get home to be disappointed again.

^ My school locks its wireless networks, but everyone knows the password since it's just the school's phone number backwards. :rolleyes: They block any sort of chat/ social networking sites though, so I can't get on the forum! :\

 

Oh, and I'll repeat what I said in the "Insane US fans" group:

The longer we go without dates, the less likely I think a US stadium tour is. The European stadium dates were announced wayyyyy in advance, but the US 08 dates were only announced 2-3 months beforehand. I'm personally hoping for a normal, non-stadium tour that basically continues from Australia, but who knows? I won't complain either way (unless they come when I won't be here, of course ;)).

If they are going to do a stadium tour in the US then maybe the reason the dates haven't been announced is because they're working with the stadiums' schedule. I don't know if the MLB schedule has been announced but where Coldplay could perform are used by MLB teams, even MLS teams, and perhaps collegiate teams, therefore they're going to have to work around those schedules and work in what will fit location wise and so forth. It's easier to schedule a concert at a venue than a stadium because the stadium is used by other entertainment fields.

Of course, that is just my opinion so ignore it. LOL!!

I find this explanation to be very likely regarding why its taking so long for them to announce anything if they are planning for stadium tours in the US this summer. Scheduling around dates when stadiums in major areas can be used must be very difficult considering the sport season and I'm sure they have to put a lot of work in to book a venue once they find a date and book all of the hotels and everything before they can tell us its definitely happening! We need to trust them and be patient and I'm sure we will be rewarded with dates as soon as possible.

I have just discovered that someone has recorded and uploaded every song from my Halloween concert on Youtube. I can watch my whole concert again, and you can probably see me in many of the shots (although I haven't looked).
