How sad can you get? That women seriously needs to get a life!:dozey:

Djokovic new World No 1 regardless of who wins SW 19.

Murray started out like a house on fire, level dropped and looks far from winning now.

Agony for Andy as brutal Nadal crushes Murray's Wimbledon dream yet again

Andy Murray's wait to make a Wimbledon final goes on after he was beaten in four sets by defending champion Rafael Nadal in their last-four rematch today.

Hopes that the outcome could be different to last year were raised when Murray edged a first set of tremendous quality, but the momentum swung suddenly midway through the second set and from there it was a tale of error after error from the Scot versus an opponent who did not miss.

Nadal won 5-7 6-2 6-2 6-4 and goes forward to Sunday's final, where he will be looking to clinch the title for the third time in four years, this time against the man who has taken his No 1 ranking, Novak Djokovic.

Facing facts: Andy Murray (left) can't hide his frustration in defeat to Rafael Nadal (right) once again

the only good thing is that nadal is no longer number 1 :dozey:

That's very small comfort.:dozey:

I won't be able to watch the final anyway, so maybe it's for the best.

Just about sums up Murray doesn't it?

He misses the chance to break in the 2nd set, gets one shot wrong, and it's all downhill from there. Nadal hasn't been at his best but if Murray could hold himself together I really think he can match the top 3, but right now, as long as they're around he's not going to win a GS- it is inevitable though, great player.

Nadal still raised his game and outplayed Murray, though, so it would be unfair to heap all the blame on the Scot.

Murray threw everything he had at Nadal, but it still wasn't enough, so fair play to Rafa.

Unfortunately, Murray's serve ultimately let him down again, whereas Nadal's remained pretty rock solid.

Murray didn't get that many chances to break.

I won't be able to watch the final anyway, so maybe it's for the best.

No one at my work wanted to work Sunday. Kinda wish I had volunteered to work, I don't really care now that Federer and Murray are both out.

Same here.

In Sausageland?

Yessss, I'm off the to the Krauts today. ;)

I generally agree with most comments. Nadal outplayed him, however, again Murray wasn't consistent enough. At the French Open he played way better and had a much better chance... but maybe this comes down to the surface?

Personally I am thus a little bit disappointed with his attitude in the 3rd set. Losing the 2nd set was kinda inevitable knowing Nadal who immediately raises his game every time he gets down. But Murray took too long to recover and that cost him dearly. Easier said than done... but I don't think he gave his best in the 2nd and 3rd set.

On the other hand, I strongly disagree with Andrew Castle's comment stating that Murray will never match up the top three. Djokovic has done it and both come from a very similar background and have a very similar development so I believe Murray can do the same. Maybe they should spend more time together. :laugh3:

Well, I am looking forward to the final and I'm all Djokovic! :)

Exactly.

Brilliant crowd in Poland on Thur. Why did it take us so long to get there? Next stop Belgium. Will get over Murray-induced funk by then. JB

What the FUNK?

Going with Maria to win this as long as she doesn't serve like she did in the semis. Has the mental edge over Kvitova went on a mental walkabout in her semis and quarter final match but still got the win.

6-3, 2-2 :bomb:
