of course, but the reporting is not exactly objective and unbiased. It's like tuning in to ESPN and having the sportscaster announce "Roger Federer won again today, because he is that awesome!'

Well as it's actually true, I don't have a problem with it!

Henin played her worst match of the tournament, but still had enough to beat Petrova!:D

Sad to see Nadal go out like that, it was a good 2 sets of tennis though.

Good matchups tomorrow Federer vs Davydenko should be a classic and Djokovic vs Tsonga.

nadal is out?

his injuries are the result of the last years.. he was forced too hard! that s what critics said!

Haha, seriously? He retired when Murray was 3 games away from winning the match.

Pussy. Sorry Nadal fans, but Federer doesn't do that, he plays til the end.

They were two excellent sets of tennis - two of the best of the entire tournament.

It was sad it had to end that way, but I don't think Nadal would have come back from two sets down, anyway.

Murray had more than matched Nadal up to that point, and for whatever reason, Nadal clearly wasn't the force he was a year or so ago.;)

Either way, Murray was playing outstandingly well, and now has a great chance of making the final.

I would say that is highly likely. I always said it would be impossible to keep playing that way long-term without having big problems somewhere down the line. The strain om his body must be incredible.;)

I think you're being unfair. If you're injured and have no chance of winning the match, there's no point in carrying on, as you might end up doing yourself even more damage for nothing.

Nadal did the sensible thing by retiring, and I hope the injury isn't too bad, as the tour needs him.;)

MAH RAFA. :bigcry:

Sucks he had to quit because of injury. :(

*plugs ears so she can't hear them say bad things about him* :snobby:

Forgive me my master :(

I shall be whipped to death :whip:

Watching Federer play badly is painful, but when he's on full flow its just beautiful to watch. He really got out of deep trouble in the 2nd set but after that it was tennis at its best.

:awesome:

Well Mark may call the Williams' men, but Serena has one of the girliest squeals...

Sounds more like a manly grunt to me.:dozey:

At least her brother got knocked out, anyway.

Yes, he did pretty well after playing one of his worst sets ever. Davydenko was far too erratic in the end.;)

I'm not a fan of Rafa's playing style, but when he was interviewed on Eurosport the other day, he came across as a very nice guy.;)

Time for me to go get you your hearing aid, methinks.

He is a little unorthodox, but that's one of the reasons that he's so fun to watch, because he's great anyways. And he's played in some of the best matches of all time. Yo.

And yes, he does come across as a very nice, down-to-earth guy.

Tsonga goes to the final quarter  I'm a little sad cause I love Djoko but can't help rooting for my boy! Next match Federer... Tsonga had a rough game against Djoko, I hope he'll have time to recover before playing Roger...

Cilic played great at the start ran out of gas towards the end credit to Murray he hit great shots.

Never been a fan of Murray but after seeing that match he is become a real turn off, the constant "Come on's!" when Cilic makes an error is just messed up. If he hits a winner fair enough but to do it when your opponent makes an error just reeks of unsporting behaviour.

Time for me to go get you your hearing aid, methinks.

:ears:

Guess again! Pity she won.

Anyway, hopefully Henin will put her in her place!:smug:
