She's prettier than me. I look more like a boy than she does.

I must post that Rafa picked wedgies continuously, poor guy :P

That goes without saying.

Stop talking to me.

You "talked" to me first..............................

Asked you a question about why you are always a dick about them. I wanted an answer, not a conversation.

So, what, you gonna call me Shrek now?

You fool I didn't say it, Amy did.

because they're large and black and unattractive.

oh my god thats so mean!!! :stunned:

That is true, I hardly can see why else Mark would not like them. They're just tennis players, not models, and they play well.

MAN.

BTW there are plenty of better looking women that Rafa's gf, so shut up dude.

And don't even mention that she might be sweet and loves him cos that's not what we're discussing.

LOL, Federer's wife used to make me laugh. I'm not sure why.

like you, for example??

I think at this point most of your arguments have been invalidated. :D Btw, long career to Nadal, he's such a great promisse legend at this point. Congrats to him!!

Yeah its true.. but everyone has their opinions rude or not

anyways congrats rafa!

I still wonder how you know I'm a girl if I didn't display my gender.

And no, but I bet not you either!! but there are plenty and being who he is, he could have any woman.

Unless you have shitty taste.

That's because you act so girly most of the time, and I remember you having a female symbol displayed in your profile in the past... Also you were commenting on the tampon/pads thread. So I think it's been quite obvious... Wait, you aren't a boy... are you? :P

Me either what? He doesn't have to have the prettiest woman in the world just because he's the best player in the world nowadays. I don't think he's got a shitty style either for his actual girlfriend IMHO.

Maybe, but they play ugly, and it's horrible to watch (and hear). That's the point.:smug:

Very well put. The same goes for Rafa. I don't actually care whether he's gay or not, but it's funny to speculate!

Brits win Wimbledon shock (well, the junior version anyway)

By Emily Andrews

Last updated at 12:26 AM on 5th July 2010

Andy Murray can rest easy - for Britain has some home-grown champions at Wimbledon after all.

The only problem for the tennis establishment is that one of them is something of a rebel.

Liam Broady, 16, stormed to victory with fellow Brit Tom Farquharson, 18, in the boys' doubles final yesterday.

article-1292024-0A52E1F2000005DC-959_468x312.jpg Liam Brady, 16, left and To Farquharson, 18, celebrate victory in the boys' doubles

article-1292024-0A52A40D000005DC-729_233x550.jpg Liam Brady's family fell out with the LTA two years ago.

It was the perfect revenge after a feud between his family and the Lawn Tennis Association.

After the win, Liam was asked if it was like sticking up two fingers at the LTA.

He laughed before answering: 'I try to steer clear of the politics and focus on the game. But yeah.'

The Broady family fell out with the Lawn Tennis Association when Liam's older sister Naomi, also a talented player, had her funding suspended after she and several other top juniors posted silly boasts about getting drunk on a social networking site.

Father Simon Broady, 50, decided to coach both his children, downsizing his house in Stockport two years ago to fund their tennis.

At the time he said: 'Naomi was made a scapegoat for something not very serious but it goes back further than that.

'I've had a lot of hostility from the LTA and the root of it is that I want to stay working with my kids. I don't trust others to do it.'

And the upshot is that Wimbledon has not one, but two British champions this year.

It was an all-British affair on Court One as Broady and Farquharson defeated Lewis Burton, 18, and 17-year-old George Morgan 7-6, 6-4.

Maybe, but they play ugly, and it's horrible to watch (and hear). That's the point.:smug:

well, then don't fucking watch.

well, then don't fucking watch.

I don't really, as it happens, unless there's a chance of Shrekena losing, which does happen from time to time, although not as often as I'd like.

Rafa Nadal is flying out to go watch the final, i hope he gets his heart broken not hating on him or anything.

Awesome Andy retains Rogers Cup after straight-sets win over Federer in Toronto

By David Kent in Toronto Last updated at 11:41 PM on 15th August 2010

Andy Murray won his first title of the year last night as he beat Roger Federer 7-5, 7-5 to retain his Rogers Cup title.

He became only the fifth man to beat Federer and Rafael Nadal in the same tournament and, for good measure, the first since Andre Agassi to defend the Canadian title.

article-1303382-0ACECA92000005DC-197_306x423.jpg Sweet success: Murray celebrates his win

It was a desperately difficult final match-up for both men as the rain threatened to send them running for cover at any moment.

In all there were four rain delays, and the two-hour match took more than four hours to complete. Murray had never taken a set from Federer in a final before, although he did lead their career rivalry 6-5 as yesterday's showdown began.

What he had discovered to his cost in the past was that Federer in a final is a far more ferocious opponent than he is at any other time. But Murray had been getting better as the week went on.

He had almost reached his peak as he beat Nadal on Saturday and, knowing that there was still more to come, he was confident and ready for anything that Federer had to offer.

Murray had beaten Nadal on Saturday by being aggressive, positive and focused. So, if that worked against the world No 1, surely it would work against the No 2.

Sure enough, Murray raced into an early lead, breaking Federer's first two service games and stamping his authority on the opening exchanges to lead 3-0.

article-0-0ACE8802000005DC-839_468x306.jpg Handy Andy: Murray clinched his first tile of the year after beating Federer in straight-sets

He was serving well, taking the ball early and punishing any mistakes or hints of weakness from the Swiss.

Clearly, Federer was not going to roll over in a Masters final, and he began to make a fight of it as the set wore on, breaking back and then being gifted a second break of serve with a Murray double fault. However, he was still playing catch-up against the Scot.

When Murray broke yet again and this time served out for the set, Federer looked troubled. Murray was treating the mighty, multiple grand slam champion with disdain and Federer did not like it.

article-1303382-0ACEB02C000005DC-707_468x286.jpg Don't blame it on the weatherman: Sunday's final was interrupted four times

Neither of them were pleased when the rain that had threatened all day finally arrived and delayed matters for 53 minutes just as the second set was warming up.

When they returned, Murray was able to win two points before the drizzle started up again, leaving them kicking their heels for another nine minutes.

By this time, Federer had a face like thunder and, in the five minutes of play he was allowed before the heavy rain moved in, he succeeded only in dropping his serve as Murray moved tantalisingly close to victory.

Federer did make a better fist of things when the rain finally stopped, but he could not stop the champion on his march towards the trophy.

Murray knew, even before last night's final, that he is ready to launch a serious challenge for the US Open. On Saturday, Murray brushed aside Nadal 6-3, 6-4 in the semi-final.

article-1303382-0ACE946B000005DC-258_468x296.jpg Roger that! Federer couldn't stop the British No 1 in Sunday's rain-affected final

It was, the Scot insisted, the best match he had played all year, and he knows that sort of performance can push him to the sharp end in two weeks' time and give him a chance to win his first Grand Slam title.

'It's been a great start to the hardcourt season,' said Murray. 'But the big one is the US Open and that's where I want to play my best. Even now, if I were to lose in the first round of Cincinnati, it will have been great preparation for the Open.'

Cincinnati is the last Masters event before the US Open - Murray will play there this week - and it will give him one more chance to hone his game. But, after his performances in Canada, he knows he is on track.

Better still, the rest of the men know he is mightily hard to beat again. After splitting with coach Miles Maclagan three weeks ago, Murray has had to rely on himself - and that has brought a new focus to his game.

He said: 'If you have lost, you don't feel like you've let anybody down except yourself, which I'm sure is nice.'

Robin Söderling just won his first Master 1000 title in Paris this afternoon, after a relatively easy match against Gaël Monfils ! (6-1 ; 7-6)

(Not that anyone will be interested, but I'm quite happy! :D)

Great bump! Thanks! :nice:

The two semi final matches yesterday were great entertainment, pity Federer lost. Well done to Soderling.

I'm still saddened by Elena Dementieva's retirement.

Innorite. She should wait for at least another year, at least for a Grand Slam maybe? I like her so much. :\
