you should spray it with some spray on fixative, or the cheaper way is to use hairspray.

 

so it wont smear.

 

but when using hairspray dont spray it too close to the paper or youll drench it.

I think she meant to smear parts of it though, the "smears" go in different directions... as an interesting little effect. ;)

Thank you for that tip! it works! I've looked everywhere for charcoal fixative but I've never found any. :dance:

I'll sure do! I have to buy me some charcoal, it's so much fun to draw with, I haven't done that for sooo long. And pastels too. Hm, now I know where my next paycheck will go :P

I love both the cup with Coldplay song titles and those sweet colourful Coldplay drawings. And in particular the drawing with superhero Chris and the squirrel. These drawings are indeed beautiful and really made me happy. They are tip top. :)
