Awesome idea! :D

Just because of that, this is a picture that me and my friends arranged after the Coldplay concert in Stockholm in 2009 :nice:

Oh, and...I have wanted to steal an idea from here for eternities now but I can't find the person who came up with it! I'll try to explain this idea the best I can and then the person feeling responsible could just answer and then I can ask my question :D

There were three or four butterflies (you know the glowing ones), one in each color, and three or four black frames. One butterfly was in each frame.

Gosh I don't know how to describe it more.

I just recklessly want to steal this idea but I don't know the best way to glue the butterflies onto some sort of black paper or cardboard.

So THE PERSON WHO DID THIS AND SHOWED IT OFF IN THIS THREAD, how did you do it? :nice:

Frida, was it this (second picture)? http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3370543&postcount=2950

Also, that thing that the boys auctioned off for charity is almost exactly the way you described... http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=614&page=0

^I want to make that but I don't know what type of glue I should use.

I wouldn't stick the butterflies with glue - simply put on black paper - the glass of the frame will hold the butterflies ;)

The thing with my frames is that they are deep frames - the glass doesn't touch whatever is inside.

Ooooh, but glue isn't so good for the butterflies :( Maybe you can stick it with tape, which sticks on both sides ( I don't know the right word ... I mean this 6762_0.jpg)

:embarrassed:

This has almost nothing to do with Coldplay (almost :sneaky:), but I made this for school. The assignment was: no black or white. The notes in the background are from Clocks and BAM it's all about Coldplay! :nice:

Ooh, how cute! :nice: I'm thinking about getting the riff from Clocks as a tattoo on my thigh  :D

Awesome, Anna! :D Hi btw :nice:

It's a good ouch! I'm getting one in London :D Maybe on the first day, so you'll have to join! ;)

Yeah but if you get it (on your thigh) the very first day, wouldn't that make it hurt to walk around for a few days? Although I suppose it would depend where on your thigh you plan to get it. :D

I'm actually planning another one to do in London, on my wrist, but I don't think it would be too bad to walk on if I get one on my thigh, I have one on my ankle and it barely even hurt to make, so we'll see :D

Okay, "I" didn't really make it, but I designed it and am having it made...

See my avatar at the moment? It's going to be a seal / hand stamp. That way I can give whatever I want the "Will Champion Seal of Approval".

I'll post pictures once it arrives.

And yes Anna, I'll stamp the back of my butterflies with it. :flutterby:
