Ok, I have a BIG problem

That's a bit disrespectful

It's GREATLY disrespectful! Julia, seriously quit and report him! There is always an alternative to working for a person like that. The world is too big a place and we have so little time to waste it on people like him. Seriously! You plain and simply shouldn't work there.

I don't know if my parents do have something like that....

I think I will wait another 2 days or something like that and then I will see what I'm gonna do. Maybe I will feel better in 2 days...although I think it just wouldn't be right just to forget it....

Dave, I work in a music shop which sells instruments and stuff. It's not THAT easy...;)

I was talking about what Kite said...

I would quit immidiately, but it:

a) won't do me a favour in my vita

and

b) I have to leave my flat which won't be that easy, etc...

but I found an alternative which could work...university (again)

I don't know if you know that, but I stopped studying at university as well last september...and started this apprenticeship and hoped I would finally get happy with this. and now this...damn it

Ah ok. No quote so I assumed. Either way, it works for both!

I think I can tell him what I want. He wants to see it! This is what I understood from his experience with this other girl who works there...

I'm so scared of over-reacting. esp. Because my Dad told me just to forget it.

I gained so much self-confidence in the last couple of months. Esp. when it comes to my body. I was never really satisfied with it. But I realised that you don't have to be a skinny model to look good. And now this. It put me a step back.

and I'm such an idiot and started justifying myself yesterday...and even said that I was never really happy with it....fuck fuck fuck...but which woman is happy with her body? I wonder if he knows what he does if he tells something like this a woman who is one of his employees...

To be honest with you I cannot understand your father's point of view. It must also be horrible for your parents to hear what happened yesterday (and you said your mother even began to cry). So how can your dad say you should forget all those things?

I would go to work tomorrow as usual and then in the course of today (perhaps at noon) I would try to call the IHK (chamber of commerce). They will definitely help you.

Don't forget another point. You must not only start to defend yourself now, you also bear responsibility to protect other girls who might work in the music store in the future, too. It seems that you're not the only "victim".

And I hope you realized one thing by reading this thread... there is absolutely no need to change your body! Drink and eat whatever you like. :)

Then you're certainly in a bit of a bind. You know, it doesn't matter what his reasons were for saying it, he outright shouldn't have said anything. He is a complete jerk. The upside, and there is one at the end of this crappy tunnel, is you don't have to lose any weight unless you feel like it. He already knows he shouldn't have said anything, and he definitely doesn't want you telling anyone else he said it, so in a way, you've got him feeling quite insecure although he would never admit to it.

Perhaps stick with this job, and continue doing a fine job while you're at it so he has no other reason to send you packing. It's 100% discrimination. But yes, maybe stay with the job for now while looking for another and when the time is right for you, leave with your head held high and your bootilocious butt leaving his ugly personality behind.

I wish my Dad would have said something else. Honestly. Because his advise is most important for me. He says all those things my boss said are so absurd that I should just forget this ass-hole. But I don't know what he will do in the future. If he will put me under pressure or if he will forget it, too....(I don't think so..)

and for all who don't know me:

here is me (the one with the glasses)...I don't want you to tell me now that I am not fat and blablabla...I only want you to show what we are talking about here. To show you the fairness of this world...

Even if you don't want me to say so, but I simply HAVE TO do it.

You're not anywhere near fat, not even chubby in my opinion ...

I get even more angry on this asshole now ... :veryangry2:

It isn't his business how much my weight is. It sounds as if I am bad for his company. He obviously doesn't care about qualification....there is another guy who does an apprenticeship there....all the colleagues told the boss that he should fire him, because he does really bad work. But he didn't do it...and he would fire me, because I have some kilos too much. Strange strange world.

He also said about this other girl that she is so friendly and nice to the customers and really good at what she does. But all this doesn't count if you are fat.

Ok, I must admit: you can't see my butt there...:wacky:

whatever

But doesn't it prove even more just one thing?

I mean, your whole appearance is absolutely okay! You're not fat nor chubby or anything, so this guy is simply reducing you on your butt?? Pardon??? :stunned:

If he was really concerned about your health (which we all know by now he is not!!) he wouldn't have said that only your 'butt' is too big but instead would have wrapped it up more nicely and more subtile.

But he didn't so it's purely discrimination ... :(

he obviously is reducng me on my butt, because he said that I am ok on top and that he didn't see it (He obviously meant my butt when he said that) when he first saw me and told me that I can start working there. He said he only looked into my eyes then (and he only saw me most of the time when I was sitting in front of him, so he couldn't see my butt). He said if he had seen it back then he would have found enough reasons to tell me that I can't start working there, because he is not allowed to give "her butt is too big" as a reason.

Man, that hurt when he said that yesterday

I would gladly ask for the address of the shop you're working at, but I guess I am too far away ...

He can consider himself lucky, otherwise I don't know what I have done ...

Probably nothing but I guess I would have loved to see a creature from the stone age ...

He makes me sick, too!

I don't really know what I am still doing there after thinking a lot about it today. I mean I only see him once or twice a week, but I have to defend the things he does and to set his company into a good light in front of the customers....but I don't even want to do that anymore...I don't want the best for his fucking company. I won't mind if he would fire me, because I am bad for his company.

I'm so scared of telling this my colleagues....or at least some of them. But it will kill me if I won't do this....ahhh fuck.

he is 73!!!

I wish he got this heart attack he almost had some weeks ago...

Okay, this gets nasty now but I can't help it ...

Rather a 'big' butt, than a wrinkled dick ...

And onto that subject ...

When I was in school years ago, we've had this horrible and scaring teacher in maths.

He used to attack the pupils and made them feel like idiots by asking them up to the blackboard and giving them tasks which were hard to solve.

This was really awful and many of the kids were upset and in tears.

So one girl came up with the idea to imagine him standing there naked which wouldn't be so scaring anymore but just a laugh ...

This won't help your situation but maybe it gives you some kind of upwind and strength to cope with it for some time ...

p.s. and keep remembering:

God gave you two ears ;)
