Alarm clock thread

Featured Replies

My husband is my alarm clock. So anytime I don't wake up, I know who to blame :D

I use my Phone most of the time, and it plays Lit, which I think is the perfect song to wake up too, but it's also been warning sign and viva la vida..

the power just went out for a minute here so now I have to reset my normal alarm clock which i HATE doing... it used to be my regular alarm and has a CD player, but for some reason I can't explain it won't play my cd's anymore.. :(

My alarm clock is my mobile phone.

I use the pre-built in ringtones, during the week under alarm clock "get up you lazy fucker" I use the tone known as "Sharp Edge". At weekends I use the tone known as "Nocturne".

I need to get me that wake up tone too

my alarm clock is an ihome, and i have a long playlist of good songs to wake up to on random, so i have a different song every day. i'm weird, though, and i have to let the entire song play through. i can't press snooze or anything and interrupt it . actually, i never press snooze. i always set my alarm to half an hour before i wake up, and then go back to sleep until my second alarm rings, which is just my watch alarm beeping. i'm actually really good about going back to sleep for exactly 30 mins and don't really need two alarms, but last semester i messed that up once and almost missed my arabic midterm, so it scared me into using two alarms.

last semester i had time to nap every day, and my alarm to wake me up was my phone, on "spies" :D

at home, my second alarm is one of those projector clocks, but without my glasses on, i can't read the time on the ceiling anyway :dozey:. i didn't make that connection until after i bought the thing

I used to have that same problem with reading the projector clock... plus I find it to bright I like dark

I use my mobile too, I set it on a very annoying tune which never fails to wake me up until I throw it on the floor (It's Nokia so it doesn't get hurt!) & take 5 extra minutes!!! :pleased:

I have this horrible version, if it is a version, of 'Cars' by Gary Numan. It sounds barely similar at all and you'll find it built as a tone on quite a lot of phones.

You realise that everyone who reads that will automatically get Cars stuck in their head?

damn you!

I have an annoying alarm clock.....its that Munich by Editors, the beginning bit of it is quite screechy but it wakes me up :)

Its a great song! Ive got The Saturdays stuck in my head. Bad times.

I use my mobile phone. At the moments "Talk" wakes me up and for some reason "In My Place" in the weekends. :)

I use a regular (well, not regular - it sounds like birds :freak: :shifty:) alarm clock. :uhoh:

I use my iHome. It's awesome, because I usually set it to wake me up with "Wonderlust King" and then it's in my head all day.

I always wake up 25 mins before my alarm goes off. See, that's a enough time to fall back asleeep but just makes it so much harder to wake up when I know I'll only get a deep sleep for that short time. My biological internal clock is screwy!

I don't need one my brain is programmed to wake up at 6 am every morning.

i also use my mobile phone.

i always need something smooth to wake me up, so right now it's a cut version of a piano rendition of death cab for cutie's "i will follow you into the dark".

:nice:

i used to wake up with "chickens" shouting at their cage
