February 7, 200917 yr I wouldn't call it that bad, one of the warrant officers at work changed £10,000 into dollars when the exchange rate was £1~$2, and has changed it back last week making quite a bit of profit (as the exchange rate has fallen sharp)
February 7, 200917 yr Author People can definitely profit from whats going on. And many currencies are in major trouble, like the Pound and a few others. I like the Yen.
February 7, 200917 yr http://www.fundmasteryblog.com/2008/06/09/how-far-has-the-dollar-fallen-and-why-whats-next/ Here's a GREAT blog entry from back in June of last year. It's full of good charts. I love the conclusion he draws in the last short paragraph: The difficulties we faced in the 1970s and 1980s were far more severe than anything we are seeing now and I am confident that the Fed and the U.S. Treasury will be able to deal with the much more moderate economic problems we are facing. We clearly have issues now, but they are not nearly as difficult as the issues we have successfully overcome in the past. Heh.
February 7, 200917 yr Why hasn't super-Obama sorted it out yet? Isn't he meant to be superman and to sort everything out in the first week?

Normally I don't use the word "dude", but after reading this it seems appropriate: http://warner.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/02/05/sometimes-a-president-is-just-a-president/ Dude.
February 7, 200917 yr WTF?!?!?!!? :stunned: So this is what the New York Times is preoccupied with nowadays? Fantasizing over Obama like some seductive Greek God?
