2009 North American Tour ... presale???

Featured Replies

Hello,

I had a few questions.

1. How many tickets are we allowed to buy for the presale?

2. Do we need to sign up for ticketrush.com, it appears the password is VENUE, so do I need an account?

3. Are these specific seats or can you get general admission (lawn)?

ack!! I hope the Canadian dates come back soon! The presale is in three days!!:shocked2:

here is my suggestion for everyone if i ever clicked on a livenation link to buy tickets and they were also listed on ticketmaster it would always link me to ticketmaster so i say that u all try ticketmaster...well, if your event is listed on ticketmaster i think only 4 cp shows are listed on ticketmaster as of right now...

You're right!

IF the Coldplay concert is listed on Ticketmaster, just go directly to Ticketmaster and type the password (which is easy to remember).

Hi! To answer your questions:

1) Not sure. On the TicketRush FAQ it says that sometimes pre-sales are limited to 4 seats. Yet it depends on the artist/venue/concert.

2) Nope, I don't think so. As long as you remember the password, I think you'll be fine :)

3) Who knows? These pre-sales thingies are tricky. But if you want lawn tickets, make sure you request for the lowest priced ones when placing an order. I think that way you'll get lawn tix.

My guess is that tickets are being sold through livenation.com, look at this... http://promo.livenation.com/09Tickets/

Yeah, it seems that most concerts will be sold thru LiveNation. So far, ticketmaster only has 4 concerts listed (San Diego, the 2 in Washington state, and Dallas)

Shucks! :P

Hey guys

Thanks for all the help so far! this may be a dumb question but where do we purchase the tix w/ the pre-sale code? and HOW does TicketsNow [owned by ticketmaster] have tix for the Toronto show onsale already when they haven't even gone onsale yet?

I used to work for Ticketmaster and still retain some contacts, so I can just ask and I shall receive!

Unfortunately, most of the best seats have gone! Usual story I am afraid, sponsors etc...so the presale seats are very average, better seats will be on general sale.

:stunned: :stunned: :uhoh: :bigcry:

So what should I do, go presale or risk waiting for general sale when half the world is trying to get tickets for the one New England show?

Ahhh, someone help, these things always stress me out so fucking much

yeah you're right in a way it's like false advertising..it really pisses me off when they have nosebleeds for like 300 dollars..i mean those cost like 79 normally...

Have another quick question....re:live DVD - Coldplay recorded two shows back to back in Toronto that I thought was going to be a live DVD but I haven't heard anything yet..anyone?

Yes, Zoe, I'm gonna try to get the tix thru pre-sale. Never done it, but I trust Erick :smug:

Besides, we'll send you tons of Coldplay Karma! :D

Also, I'll buy a tix for the Raleigh concert on pre-sale to see how it goes. I have time since the Tampa pre-sale is a week later than most (Feb 20 vs Feb 13).

If I get a tix, I'll keep it and go to NC, or sell it for just the same amount it cost me (to a Coldplayer, of course)

:wreck: Thanks for the guidance, guys. And please keep me updated on how the Raleigh pre-sale goes! I just don't want to fuck this up, I want to have the best seat possible!!

I hate buying concert tickets, so terrifying :bigcry:

The 13th, so... Friday?

OH GOD, FRIDAY THE 13TH.

ok i have answered a lot of questions so maybe some karma will come my way cuz now i have a question..i want to buy 4 tickets and i am allowed to get up to 4..but do u guys think or even better know if this will affect my chances of getting good seats with the presale?

^Erick, I have read about it on older pre-sale threads here on Coldplaying

(because Coldplayers like to search )

Some people posted that they got good seats by buying a single ticket.

Maybe two.

But, yeah, it seems as if searching for one tix increases your chances.

That's why I'll try to buy a single Raleigh tix, as well as convince my sister to buy separate single tix for Tampa.

OH GOD, FRIDAY THE 13TH.

Zoe, don't panic, we live in a beautiful world...yeah we do, yeah we do

We are here to help each other

Erick, but take what I just posted with a grain of salt. Who knows? you might get 4 good seats :laugh2:

I just pray there no additional pre-sale promotions besides Ticket Rush.

I know Citi, AmEx, fan clubs, and radio stations have pre-sales.
