February 7, 200917 yr Coldplay reaches 30 weeks in dutch top 40 chart It's not something a lot of artists or bands will copy, Coldplay is already making history, because front man Chris Martin and his band reached the 30 weeks limit in the dutch Top 40 chart. A special mark, which they've accomplished with their single 'Viva la Vida', because the last time the the 30 week limit was reached has been a while. with their 30 weeks Coldplay is tied with (I can't get no) Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones, and Only A fool by Mighty Sparrow (ao). If the English band should stay in the charts for another week, they'll be officially noted in the top 10 of 'longest noted records of all times'. Coldplay's viva la vida may be considered their biggest hit ever. With their 30 week notation, of which 3 on top, it will have the highest amount of points of all coldplay-singles. A hit of huge size, Viva la Vida, is a true world hit! (they are currently noted 30 in the top 40) http://www.zangtalent.be/actueel_nieuws.asp?newsid=25792
February 7, 200917 yr This is great news, although it might have something to do with a lack of quality material in the Dutch charts!!
