well it's nicer than DC right now, that's for sure! DC has two feet of snow, and it's 80 degrees here :P

so how's your Christmas eve? it sounds so full of family traditions and fun times :awesome:

oh thank goodness!! *wipes sweat away from forehead*

 

ahh its been really good!! :heart: well our christmas eve dinner is full of polish traditions. all of which i can't spell :P the name of the meal begins with a v, and its 7 fishes. but we don't actually eat that many :P and i don't really like fish so i'm not too crazy about that part :P but my brother made realllly good pirogues [probably spelled wrong] and its another tradition that you get this stuff that i can't spell but begins with an a and it tastes like cardboard and styrofoam combined. anyway, it starts with the oldest person in the family, my dad, and he gives some to each person and says something to them and then my mom goes etc. so that was really good. except, everyone said something about my legs and i almost cried because my legs are a very emotional and personal matter to me so anytime someone brings them up, even if its good, i find myself holding back tears. what kyle said to everyone was the best, he's so funny :awesome:

 

and my parents each get a gift for us and give it to us tonight. and normally my brothers and i exchange gifts with each other, but we didn't do that this year. my mom got us all picture ornaments and mine has a picture of coldplay and a picture of me and amy at love park in it. she got the pictures from the ones i sent her for amy's present :lol::P

and my dad got me awesome fuzzy socks, really gorgeous earrings, and this gel like thing that you can heat or cool and it makes your feet feel better. his theme was things to "help make my feets feeing fine" which was really thoughtful cause they always hurt and are tired and sore from my leg problems.

and kyle got me a really beautiful fan from spain and 2 beautiful bracelets which i LOVE and a postcard because i collect them

if you really wanted to, you could celebrate christmas. i know a lot of people who celebrate just because they want to. actually i think almost all of the jewish people i know celebrate christmas too :thinking:
