Got chills reading that story Zoo.

I got chills experiencing it :P

That basically made my day. :P

it made my... year, I think

The parents must be ecstatic! I really hope he continues. Do you think he will. Well, even if he doesn't just keep on talking constantly, it was still progress! That really is a great experience, I hope you'll keep us updated!

it was funny because he actually wasn't too surprised! see, this boy hums alllllll the time (that's his biggest stim), and his dad told us that two days ago, the humming started to turn into word-like sounds. like, instead of humming, he'd go "nuh nuh nuh", "ssssssss", etc... so he'd been trying for two days, and today he finally got it! it must have been a relief for him to finally get it all out :P

we definitely think he'll continue  clearly he'd been absorbing everything for a very very long time- he knew the whole song, and said basically all of the words. who knows how many words he has floating around his head! but he's at a good place where he gets speech therapy and lots of other help, and his parents are really involved, so we really think that this is just the beginning. eeeeeeeek it's so exciting :D

NICE AVATAR URANUS

OH YEAH I FORGOT TO REPLY TO YOUR PROFILE MESSAGE

I AM OKAY

I JUST FOUND OUT I MAY HAVE A HEART PROBLEM THOUGH

I'm not sure, they haven't even actually looked at the results of that ECG I got a few weeks ago yet but somebody sent us a preliminary thing and they said that it looked like something wasn't normal and something about prolonged QT blahblahblah.

So I'll have to wait until they look at the results of that I guess to know if there's anything.

This ECG wasn't even set up by my doctor, it was set up by my psychiatrist who wanted to see if I was okay or whatever ahead of time because my doctor was setting up an appointment with a cardiologist in the future but she wanted to put up my medication that day but she was nervous. I've been off my medication since that day. :freak:

I wonder when that appointment at the cardiologist my doctor said he would set up will be.

:uhoh: that doesn't sound too good. I hope you're ok

I'm gonna go downstairs and maybe eat lunch, talk to you later uranus

Haha, it would explain how I always get like dizzy and fall over though, which is what they're trying to figure out. :wacky:

Okay.
