The only thing I remember from any of my math classes is cDonald's Theorem.

I'm in Trigonometry. We basically study everything having to do with sines, cosines, tangents, secants, cosecants, and cotangents.

i studied it last year. BORING.

Seriously, if I did not have my best guy friend helping me last year, I may have flunked AP Calculus. And I totally bombed the AP test. Not that this was a surprise, but you know.

I think the problem with Math is that it's often taught improperly. If you get a good math teacher who cares that you understand it, then anybody can learn from them.

 

EDIT: Also, most math textbooks suck. This is where homeschooling comes in handy, because I remember my brother's math textbooks and they were ten times better than the ones I had in public school

I know what you mean. Some of my friends from my previous school (if you read my post where I'm explaining about my school you'll understand) have no idea what's going on in class. There are a lot of bad teachers. Some of them have no interest in explaining, some are teaching to fast, some are plain idiots. I helped a friend who is really bad in math, I explained her functions, and know she understands functions. I mean, it was really easy helping someone, I don't know why teachers work as teachers if they aren't teaching anything.
