You're still reading that? Have a SparkNotes version or something? I might be able to help (I read it once) Do you know what the test's about or anything?

Seriously, why have none of my teachers emailed me back?! So annoying!

well we were supposed to finish it over spring break, which was 2 weeks ago.

i read sparknotes, but that's it. i think i read like 9 pages of part 2 during class once when we had a sub and i had nothing else to read.

thanks, but i'm just gonna use sparknotes if i can't remember anything :P

and NO! short answers i know. which could be bad.....but no one read it, so yeah...i won't be alone.

but maybe i'll read the ending of the book tomorrow morning when i'm waiting at the doctor's

^yeah. especially cause i have a feeling that there will be a question asking whether or not we think he dies at the end, or just dies metaphorically. we've gotten into big debates about this and i was just like "uhh.......what??"

spark notes doesn't say the thing about the bullet

and it sucks cause i read all of this, especially the beginning FOREVER ago!! i can't remember anything i read! i hate that.

ugh

hahahahaha!!

That's why it's better to read the actual book than use sparknotes :P:P

Wait, you actually did read it? And you don't remember ANY of it? :inquisitive:

I read it like a year ago and still remember at least the important parts. Not to make you feel bad or anything.

hahahahaha!!

hey, this books SUCKS! i tried to to read it! but couldn't! i only read like 11 pages of the actual book. rest was sparknotes. i don't really remember much from either.

well i remember the main things yeah, but i'm not so sure i'm gonna do well on this test.

i didnt like that book. but i was lucky cuz we never had any tests over it

LUCKY!!!! we all begged not to have a test [because none of us read it] but we still have a test. and we have to write a dumb ass comparison essay on the book and the WEIRDEST MOVIE YOU WILL EVER WATCH which is Brazil. i don't even know what the fuck happened in the movie or what it has to do with the book. when we were watching it our teacher was like "what the hell is this?! this movie is so weird and creepy!! i'm sorry guys."

so i'm screwed for that too.

wtf? I just googled Brazil and apparently it's similar to 1984 -- only except in ALL WAYS IT COULD POSSIBLY BE SIMILAR TO 1984. Srsly guise?

what kind of books do you all normally read in English?

watch the movie, trust me. it doesn't have a lot to do with it. the main thing is that the ministry of love is like information retrieval in the movie.

and i think the food.

the cops kinda.

nothing else really.

bad ones!

hahaha sorry mars. that sucks. :(

hah hah. thanks. :)

I'd rather not watch it -- apparently it's bad :P

Night everybody! :nice:

Heya!

I have an imaginary friend`

His name is Jonny

At dinner he fell off his chair (It was reaalllly funny :D)

well, i can take it off when i shower, when i sleep, and if its really hot or bugging me or causing my foot/leg to fall asleep, as long as i'm not doing anything. and see as how i'm just sitting here, then getting a shower, i'm good. :D

it feels so nice. but my leg itches. and its weird to walk....

yuummyy.

eating cake topped with sliced-n-sugared strawberries.

and that`s my minimal contribution to this thread this evening!-later all:)

My friend I was telling you about who has some major leg problems was telling me she was looking forward to getting her removable cast soon.
