Those annoyances are personal to me and nobody else. The point of this thread was that my thread was deleted...

I just don't think that one can judge how a person behaves in real life from looking at their thoughts expressed in text. Real life is so...different.

 

Very true, an excellent point. I suppose I'm just very lucky in that (apart from one exception) I've always been an incredible judge of character, even just by reading letters or text. I've always thought I must be slightly psychic (and that is for another thread) but i'll try to remember that not everyone is intuitive.

Has nick_get_on_aim's account been banned (a good use of common sense) and Nick cautioned for joining in as well or has it had a blind eye turned on it?

Well, i don't think nick_get_on_aim should be banned or anything but i just find it weird that no mod or admin said anything about the whole mess (as far as i know, i must confess that i didn't read all the threads and all the posts in them)

but still Nathan's joke thread was removed.. We even had a "dead baby" joke thread, wasn't that thread equally as "sick"?

It even calls for the Cyanide & Happiness thread to be removed as the creators (especially Kris) constantly joke about THE ABUSE OF BABIES, THE DISABLED AND OH MY GOD AIDS TOO. So why the hell isn't that one moved, hm?

^Cobalt, you are a very smart person. Good job. And I agree. The cyanide & happiness thread has almost the same content, so.

Just because you can't see a response, doesn't mean something isn't happening. None of you have access to the moderator's forum, so therefore none of you are aware of the discussions happening in there, and the ongoing issues which need resolving. The day to day running of this message board takes more than just posting a few messages & removing spam.

 

There are different responses to different events. Banning someone who keeps rejoining with new usernames every time is a pretty pointless excercise, so other plans have to be devised & actions taken. Plus, banning people is a last resort on this forum. You really have to push & push for us to turn round and take that action, or do something in extreme contravention of the T&C's.

 

Some threads/posts need moving straight away, others can be left whilst an issue is sorted.

 

Not every response requires the same action.
