What are the REAL reasons why Americans have been losing their jobs?

Thanks, I'll make you a sig if you want. Just come up with an idea and PM me.

At least I keep making money on my oil holdings to offset some of the cash I'm losing on the short end. If it's one thing I've learned from this market volatility the past few months, it's that traders enjoy seeing trends continue. I'm actually starting to think it pays to avoid contrarian sentiments sometimes.

Yep you would have made a killer profit, very good call Nick.

Maybe my whole worldview is wrong and Obama's brand of "trickle up" socialism is actually working! :rolleyes:

Josh get online, I'm bleeding from every orifice in my body because of this retarded stock market.

Don't sorry Jay at some point the market will go down, just not sure when. But in the short term the book cooking banks have been doing seems to be working and the masses seemed to be fooled by it...

Again don't worry because my Economics Professor said everything is ok now and inflation has been low for the last 30 years and will stay low.

That, or maybe the economy is truly in recovery-mode, in spite of all the shell games afoot..:P

Your professor said that? Whew, ok that seals it. I'm not exiting these short positions yet!

Come and get me, ye hordes of goblin optimists! :D

You might have to exit them when they ban selling all together in efforts to prop up the market...because when inflation, accounting fraud and propaganda aren't enough, just ban selling!

Oh and check this out, this is why I think the false rally will continue for a while longer;

ABC News' Matt Jaffe and Sunlen Miller report:

After emerging from a meeting at the White House, many of the nation’s top banking CEOs briefed reporters on their 90-minute visit with President Obama, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, and other members of the administration.

The catch words thrown around were “cooperation,” “working together” and “recovery.”

The CEOs – many of whose companies and names have been drug through the dirt – intimated that much of the conversation was about the PR work that needs to be done on the economy rather than the nuts and bolts of economic recovery.

“We are responsible in some part for some sound bytes that have come out along the way. So we take ownership for that," said Richard Davis of US Bank. “But we’re going to move forward to give you better things to write about, to talk about, and better stories to show what’s happening in a great recovery,”

Great recovery? Why stop there?

Glorious recovery! For make benefit nation of Kazakhstan. :D
