What do you think about the Coldplay t-shirts?

Featured Replies

I am surprised that Coldplay t-shirts are not so impressive. All the artistic attempts Coldplay have done to their appearance, music and generally as band their t-shirts sold online do not reflect that. We, as fanatical fans of this great band, cannot wander the roads with a not so creative coldplay t-shirt.

So, I came up with an idea, that maybe some very talented people with experience at photoshop could create some designs to interpret the coldplay concept of Viva La Vida!

sounds good but coming from a person that has several online t-shirt stores I can tell you that its easier said than done......First you'd have to get permission to use the designs for public distribution.....Also people might not want to create designs to be resold and not make some kind of profit from it. There's a lot more other complications that would be involved.....

I agree... the T-shirts are nothing exciting.

Personally, I wish they had T-shirts based on the painterly covers for the singles. I'd love a Lost! shirt or a Life in Technicolor shirt...

I was so unimpressed by the available shirts that I went and made my own for the KC concert:

Well I own the 42 tshirt, and it's awesome. It's the only one I could find that had the paint brush stroke on the front, which is awesome! :)

Here's my coldplay shirt its not that bad at all

but I understand what youre talking about..I wouldnt mind have some more nice designs

I just bought the butterfly shirt online...just waiting for it to get here. I also bought the Viva coffee mug, and the red washed right off! I need to contact the maker!

^^ I just bought the butterfly one too!:D Also the brown viva tshirt :D(i know it's not for girls but whatever)

I dont find them so bad... I think there are some really cool ones, but i wouldn't mind to having more variety on the girls shirts...

I have 5 Coldplay shirts, the army hat, stickers, poster, patch, bracelets, and so on. My favorite t-shirt that I have is the one that said "Just be patient and don't worry." I also have the LOST!, Viva La Vida, the heart t-shirt, and the one with the album cover.

Just so you guys know...it takes FOREVER to get stuff you order and if they usually have to send some items separately and they charge for shipping every time which is really annoying. I ordered the butterfly shirt, but canceled the order because 2 months later still nothing.

The only complaint that i have is that the women's tees are so small!

not everyone's gwyneth's size u know :P

i love the shirts! i'm just bummed there isn't more of a selection.

they have loads of shirts of their website that i would loooove to get at my next concert, but, they're "web exclusive". :bigcry:!

Last week, I ordered the Viva coffee mug and the butterfly tshirt. The mug came in 3 days - still waiting for the tshirt. Guess I'll be patient...

I think they're awsome!! I just think they're really really expensive!!:( But I would like more, more, more!! Maybe when I'll have some more money...

I know that you guyz may like them, but I think you agree with me that they are not so creative. They should have more colors for the tshirts. Like the ones Coldplay are wearing during their concerts. If you see other bands tshirts they are MUCH more creative. The tshirts need to be more coldplayish. Like, more artistic. They are not special enough to buy. Plus, they are kind of expensive but that's the average price for all these kind of t-shirts.

All i suggested was some ideas for tshirt designs.

but you know, i think one of the great things about coldplay is the fact that their store doesn't have that much variety, and they're not trying to sell everything they use.

like some people. cough, miley cyrus, cough cough.

they're not in it for the money, that's one of the biggest things i LOVE about them.

I ordered some things about.... a year ago (from another artist, same store (fanfire)) and it took it a month to arrive..... i didn't have any of the other problems you mentioned...

i know what u saying about coldplay that they are not all about selling stuff but u must admit they are more commercial now. The whole viva la vida album is more commercial.

How so?

Viva la Vida started with a free download of Violet Hill.

^^^yep.

i think he means now that it's so popular. a bunch of people think it's like "cool" to like coldplay now since "viva la vida" came out. but if you ignore those asses, you'll realize, they are a pretty down to earth, humble, non-commercialized band.
