So now's the time to come forward.

 

Last night, I instituted an experiment. I read "Twilight."

 

All I have to say is...that book EATS YOUR SOUL.

 

Please don't ask me to explain that.

I hope you don't mind me bumping this thread...

 

I watched the movie yesterday. I like it. But some parts were lame. At the beginning of Edward and Bella knowing each other, their dialogs are confusing and not done really well. :\

 

The idea is good, but it turned a bit into something that's overdone nowadays.

 

Robert isn't handsome in the pictures I've seen before watching the movie. So when my best friend revealed her obsession over him, I was like WTF? But I must admit that he looks good in the movie! Also it's like he gets better looking towards the end of the movie.

 

The soundtrack is good.

 

I'll read the books as soon as can (that'll probably be on summer break tho), so I'll be able to see what they're like too.

 

I see most of you here are bashing Twilight. But sometimes it's not good to jump to conclusions just because something is popular. If you try you can find good stuff in everything. This isn't directed to anyone, I'm just saying. ;)

I finished reading the book yesterday I am on chap 7 of "New Moon" and yeah like Violet said... those books eat your soul :uhoh: can't explain how or why either but I like 'em pretty much... I didn't find Edward that HAWT, I thought of him as Cedric Diggory :P, but after reading the book I can't stop drooling hehehe.... can't help it! I got so much into the 2nd book that I got sad when she seemed sooo sad too.

 

The movie was ok no big deal, could have been better but the books are cool.... that's what I think tho' :uhoh:

I like the baseball scene (during which Supermassive Black Hole is played). Probably one of the best scenes in the movie. :)

On another note, I don't find Edward to be too appealing, Bella's a moron, and Japser is awesome.

I dunno but I find him hawt :bigcry:.... he's so nice :heart:, Jasper's cool but scary :uhoh:, Emmet must be HAWT!!!:wacky:

 

 

Are you reading the 2nd book or are you done already?

I have yet to find a copy of it in the library, actually.

I must say New Moon and Breaking Dawn are the best off the saga and then Twilight cause Eclipse is actually kinda boring, nothing really exciting til the end BUT the ironic thing is that this end is actually better than NM and BD (that's what they lacked, a better more exciting and less predictable ending)

If only the movie were like THAT.

I have just finished reading all the books, and saw the movie after that, this weekend. I really really like the books, they're great!! It's been a long time since I've had such great books, I just took them everywhere with me, always reading. I read them in just 4 weeks or something (which is quick for me, since I'm not that used to reading in English).

I work in a bookshop, and I recommend the books to everyone now hihi! :D

Why can't something good happen in Twilight, like Edward,tortured,staked,decapitated and left in direct sunlight, ending the possibility of a sequel to one of the worst movies ever.
