The battle of your favourite albums of all time - Discusion

PPS Only 19 Beatles songs??? You're probably one of those smug pretentious bastards who say The Beatles were overrated like most of those twatty Radiohead fans think. If you knew anything about music you'd have hundreds of Beatles songs... like me. But 19??? Laughable.:laugh3:

If you knew anything about music and was a fan of music, you would be more open to music and have respect for bands you may not like. You may not like a band like Radiohead, but you cannot deny their significance and importance.

I just read the few last pages of that thread... and I only have one thing to say: LOLLL

Jeez, what's with everyone dissing brigg's music taste? I think he has amazing music taste! :nice:

Oh yes! Almost forgot about "Julie" who's probably the most laughable Radiohead fan on these pages! Take your hammer and nails and nail yourself to a barn aka your house.

Most laughable Radiohead fan!? :cheesy:

How'd you know?! I've always wanted that title, thanks troll!

HAHAHA

My god there are some morons in the world. I can't believe what I am reading here. Radiohead are probably my favourite band, they have such a range of musical styles that appeals to me on several levels and if you don't like them then that's fair enough, music is afterall opinion.

I wouldn't normally even argue about music because it's pointless. It's like arguing with a brick wall, it's not going to change it's mind so you are wasting your time. However...to call people names and attack them as a person for preferring one album to another is nothing short of ludicrous.

How exactly did Oasis "own" them in the 90s? How did they "fail" to be successful in 2000s? Radiohead are one of the most established and popular bands in the world, I don't know a single person who isn't familiar with their work so I genuinely don't understand what you are getting at there.

Like it's been said before, you seemingly criticise artists for trying new things, in what way is Kid A pretentious? The fact that you don't understand the appeal? That they aren't an indie rock band oozing with testosterone?

Oh and here's my Last.FM, please, judge away tell me, am I worthy of an opinion on music dear masters:

Lol at this.

I support Briggins. He's recommended me a couple of good musicians.

PS, I hate music elitists. Just stfu and listen.

NO NOBHEAD! I own Sgt Pepper and quite frankly it's the greatest album ever made.

YOU WEREN'T THERE WHEN THAT ALBUM WAS RELEASED YOU SHEEEP

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Where is the Oasis mannnn?

And you listen to pretencious indie shit like me!

Grizzly Bear sux!

YOU WEREN'T THERE WHEN THAT ALBUM WAS RELEASED YOU SHEEEP

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Win.

Briggins, your "I have a large collection of a variety of artists" comment is laughable, hahahahah. Your list is all the indie/pretentious bands that people think it's cool to be into in this day and age and I don't see any variety there whatsoever! No one credible who knows anything about music would ever regard you as having even a remotely good taste in music. Now go listen to "I should be so lucky" and stop bieng in denial.

I've always been enviromentalist, much waay before than I knew about Radiohead. I have a brain and can decide by myself.. I don't need anyone else to tell me what to do; if that's your case with famous people well, sorry but not all of us are like that.. Music is a matter of tastes, if you don't like Radiohead there are thousands of other artists, so go and try them and stop making stupid comments (that goes to the sterile howyousawtheworld too).

And if someone knows about different artists here, trust me that's briggins

OI! STOP QUOTING MY CATCHPHRASES! JESUS CHRIST! you've just proved your the biggest sheep of them all. Come up with your own come backs you little thief. Honestly, i am really embarrassed for you, you're a disgrace!

No fuck off and run along with all your little sheep mates!

This is a joke right? You are a troll and this is your troll bait? It's the only reasonable response I can come up with.

baaaaaaaaaaaaah... LOLZ IM A SHEEP; LOLZ HOW SARCASTIC GIVE ME A CAKE IM THE FUNNIEST AND SMARTEST MEMBER OF THE BOARD BAAAAAH

i don't know whether to laugh and brush this off as trolling or to attempt to write a coherent and damning argument against personal attacks and blanket statements about musical tastes. i think you guys have the scathing argument side covered, so

HAHAHHAHAAHA.

Sorry that you're so thick, but I've loved Radiohead from the beginning unlike you. A couple of years ago people were telling you you should try new music. Then you followed the heard and started sucking Kid A off pretending you love it and making out you're a bigger fan than everyone else. But you're just as bad as the In rainbowers. You have no valid opinion on music because you blatantly follow everyone else, it's really embarrassing I cringe for you, honestly I do. You should try opening your music horizon instead of following everyone else and thinking it's cool to listen to Kid A. You weren't there when it wasn't as cool to like it. And all that my friend is 100 percent FACT! So you'll never have a valid point against me, lol.

I guess I should just stop denying the facts then :(

I know you're a troll but I am bored, so I will humour you.

I actually got into Radiohead rather independently and sure I was rather "late" I got into music in general pretty late actually, or what I would now consider "good" music. But the first radiohead song I ever heard was "There There" I stumbled upon it by pure chance and I thought it was the best song I had ever heard. From there I listened to OK Computer, The Bends etc, but Hail To The Thief and Kid A are definitely my favourite albums.

IF ONLY I HAD BEEN THERE WHEN IT WASN'T COOL DAMN MY SHEEP LIKE TENDANCIES, FOLLOWING MY OWN MUSIC TASTES, DAMN ME

OH MY GOD! Briggins you really are thick as pig shit. I love Radiohead, my problem isn't with them! My problem is with fake fans like yourself and MosoKnight.

P.S And you've just proved you follow the heard. Saying "Win" GEEK! To someone copying someone else's quotes! BE original fucksake!

\

Right. How can you determine who is a real fan and who is a fake fan?

Also that was never the point if you take the time to read posts properly. Briggins started the whole "You're probably too young to know who Blur were" to that other guy who has the balls to speak up in this forum, but yet again you all put it down to trolling.

It's seemingly what your entire argument is based on, so I was just showing how trivial of a point it actually is.

I'm no troll, and if I get long enough to stick around on this forum i'll prove that. I just have a problem with fakey Radiohead fans who make out they like them better than the originals, when they are not, and they themselves used to slag them off.

Oh right I'm sorry, I forgot you knew everything about everyone's lives

So I'm sure you know, none of that applies to me, so why is my opinion so wrong?

I'm no troll, and if I get long enough to stick around on this forum i'll prove that. I just have a problem with fakey Radiohead fans who make out they like them better than the originals, when they are not, and they themselves used to slag them off.

I don't see how I'm making off like I'm better than the "originals". Where have I said that or indicated that?

And guess what. I never have slagged them off.

Well whatever... Kid A won and A rush of blood to the head second, now let's go and listen to some good music :guitarist:

I'd also like to point out that not only have oasis released the same album over and over, but they've been doing it while trying to copy The Beatles the whole time.

Oasis are massive sheep.

So what does that make you as fans?

Also I would like to say that whoever became a fan of the Beatles after 1960 is not a real fan. Sorry.
