Round 2 of the finals:

The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club 13 Vs. Radiohead- Kid A 20

Coldplay - A rush of blood to the head 32 Vs. Sigur Ros - Takk... 2

So it's all come down to the last round, Kid A vs Rush of Blood, plus Takk against Sgt. peppers for the honour of 3rd place.

So it's the buildup for the final results to determine who wins the battle of coldplayers favourite album of all time, thanks for everybody who voted for this thread in the thread of the month award :)

Sigur Ros got to the final 4 by getting only 1 nomination vote, however it was one of the lucky 9 albums to get a chairman's nomination into the final 32, to get drawn against Interpol's Antics, beating it 23-8. In the 2nd round it was up against Keane's Hope and Fears beating it 13-25 and in the quarter finals it was against Muse's Origin of Symmetry, beating it 25-16. However everything has gone wrong and it has failed to pick up a single point in the first 2 rounds, losing 33-10 to Kid A and getting smashed 32-2 against a Rush of Blood, can it regain some points against fellow zero pointer Sgt Peppers?

Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head is everybody's favourite, getting 10 nominations putting it top of the table of votes, but it faced off against the album which came joint 2nd in the nominations, fellow coldplay album Viva La Vida or death and all his cookies, in which it beat it 18-15, in round 2, things got a bit easier as it came up against U2's Joshua Tree, in which after a long battle it won 29-9. In the quarters it had another tough draw against OK Computer, in which in the space of the last 3 votes, pulled it ahead to win 21-19. In the finals itself, Rush has won 2 out of 2, beating Sgt Peppers 29-15 and Takk 32-2, to put it top of the table on point difference, so a draw will see Coldplay crowded the winners.

The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club was lucky to get 2 nominations to put it into the final 32, where in round 1 it came up against U2's Achtung Baby where it beat U2's album 17-14, in round 2 it came up against the Arctic Monkeys' album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, in which it beat it 30-8 in the round's biggest smash, and in the quarters it came up against future classic Fleet Foxes by the Fleet Foxes, in which it won by 30 to 9, putting it top album going into the final 4, but that top album state soon faded away as it found itself losing the first 2 battles after showing some early promise for a shock.

The final album in the final 4 is Radiohead's Kid A, the dark-horse, it got 4 nominations in round 0, beat Arcade Fire's Funeral (in a surprise for me) 21-10, The Beatles- Revolver 26-12 and Radiohead's In Rainbows 22-16. It has won it's first 2 battles, but in the face-off against coldplay can it do the unthinkable and win against a Coldplay album on a Coldplay forum?

*puts on election-result style voice*

The results for the Badger Farm election are as followed

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club (The Beatles), 24 votes

Takk (Sigur Ros), 17 votes

So in a majority of 7 votes, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club has won.

The results for the Canada Election coming in a moment

(yes I'm looking at a map of Hampshire and those 2 names jumped out at me)

briggins. you know that's not true in your siggy though. if this were done in the coldplay section where more people go, the result would have been different. and you know that's true

haha, yeah when some people in there finally figure out theres more to music than just Coldplay.
