September 10, 200916 yr The British (also known as Britons, informally Brits, or archaically Britishers) are citizens of the United Kingdom, of the Isle of Man, one of the Channel Islands, or of one of the British overseas territories, and their descendants.[20][21][22] In a historical context, the term refers to the ancient Britons, the indigenous inhabitants of Great Britain south of the Forth.[21] British nationality law governs modern British citizenship and nationality, which are acquired, for instance, by birth in the UK or by descent from British nationals.

September 10, 200916 yr Can anyone who is non-american describe what they would say the typical american accent sounds like?
September 10, 200916 yr Doesn't that depend on where is the said American exactly from, and again by which accent he has been influenced? (But I always imagine that the American accent is the "ordinary" one or something like that) Even in a small country like mine, there are differences between somebody from Novi Sad speaking Serbian and somebody from Niš speaking Serbian, for example.
