June 11, 200917 yr I like to buy CD's because I like to have a physical copy. Also I like the aesthetic value of getting an album, waiting online, and then getting home and looking at the book while listening to the music

June 12, 200917 yr I buy them because I like to support the artists. I do download albums from the internet but if I really like them, I'll buy them in a shop. :) What I've voted for is obvious. ;)
June 12, 200917 yr i haven't actually put a CD in my cd player for the last 3 years or so, but I still buy CDs. I just love having them.
June 12, 200917 yr It seems like all people here buys lots of CDs. I know ONE person who buys CDs and do not download. Sweden - the country of piratebay.. :shame:

June 12, 200917 yr To be honest, I can't really tell much difference between a 256 or 320 mp3 and a CD, in terms of quality. But I believe in supporting the artist, so I'll either buy a physical copy, or I'll download a high quality mp3 from Itunes or Amazon.
June 14, 200917 yr I like having lossless files unlike mp3s, I like having something that won't crash or die like a hard drive, and I like having something physical to hold and a book to flip through. And cds force me to listen to an album as an album, which I like.
June 14, 200917 yr Even though I've bought quite a few mp3 albums recently, it never feels the same as picking up a fresh C.D. from the store. Sounds corny, or cheesy... but its just a whole different sensation admiring the artwork, buying it, popping it open and playing it in your car on the way home, as opposed to clicking your mouse and waiting for it to download. I think I appreciate the music more when its an actual object in my hands instead of a bunch of files on a computer.
