Where you're in a fight or dislike someone from coldplaying or any other forum and the person or thing in their avi you all of a sudden hate too.

For example I used to hate someone who had a Chris martin avi, and after that I started to kinda hate Chris Martin too

I have a definite problem with avatar association, I always imagine the people posting looking like their avatars (if their avatar is a person) or their avatar being a massive visual metaphor for their personality.

Will you guys hate me just because my avi is burning himself? :surprised:

A picture of a known thug named Joey Barton comes to mind...............................

That's true.

I love how you still don't get that I did that purely to get a reaction from people like you

That's what you say. At the very least there's something strangely Freudian about your choice, anyway....................................

Yeah i often think the poster is who ever is in their avi, which I'm sure someone out there hates Lily Allen just because of me

may be... but i don't hate someone for their avi... that's so extreme term to use.

i remember that most us happened to think that justin is a blond guy because his avis are of blond people...

That doesn't even make sense, if I specifically chose a picture to annoy you and people like you, how is any of that Freudian?

In the sense that it almost certainly says a lot about the real you, even if it's been done for effect (which I'm still not convinced about anyway).

No I wasn't saying you hate them because of thier avi, I was saying that you already don't like them and it makes you hate the person/thing in their avi

LOL, ok then Mark, I WISH I WAS JOEY BARTON HE'S SUCH A ROLE MODEL

:stunned: That always happens to me !

I know it's stupid but I can't help myself :\

I actually don't imagine them looking exactly like their avatars but just a little :P

Julie I understand you can associate the avi with the person, that sucks a bit but the only solution is that people you dislike have an avi you already dislike ! :D

Nahhh.

THats almost impossible.

Yes many times, you should have a look at the news and sports forum now and again. I am surpraised Ian has not banned politics and religion on this place...

There is some real wars down there. I am glad up to a extend we are not in control of the world, well in that place that is

oh that's another thing...

i don't hate anybody here... may be i dislike some people but i simply ignore them. :)

The hating people thing never happens to me, but I do sometimes associate people with their avatars. For example, I've met Justin in real life twice now, yet I automatically picture him in my head as Hey Arnold first .

Not usually involved with hating someone, but I definitely picture people as their avis

Does that mean people think I look like Chris Martin? :uhoh:

I know what you mean, though. I avatar-asssociate way too much too.

^^ you`re not chris martin?

but thats why i only ever talked to you...;)
