aren't the bass cleff notes (left hand) eighth notes?

yes they are, I was just creating the basic rythm/notes for everyone

actually, i think he plays part of the right hand twice as fast...

watch the AOL Sessions video where he plays in their studio

OK, I doubt this is correct, but it certainly sounds right:

first:

right hand - d, f, a

left hand - d, f, a

second:

right hand - d, f, a#

left hand - a#, f, a#

third:

right hand - c, f, a

left hand - c, f, a

fourth:

right hand - c, f, g

left hand - c, f, g

However, for the fourth one, if you play it album-version style, you don't change the left hand from "third" to "fourth" until the last time you play the "fourth" right hand.

If you are singing to it, it sounds a lot better to play the third right hand 7 times in a row, then play the fourth right hand once (with the fourth left hand). Chris does that when he's playing live.

ok, here is the sheet music to how how he plays it live:

the first half is how he plays before he starts singing, and once he starts singing he plays the second half. i know it isn't completely right, but it's close.

here is how it sounds: right click + save as

are you sure those last sixteenth notes aren't just the reverb from the live show? i've never heard it like that

yup, i have two videos like that on my computer, both of which you can see his hands doing it. go to AOL music and search for the scientist, and watch the in-studio version. or, i could email it to you.

Req: Trouble & The Scientist - Piano Sheets

please, can anyone get them for me.. :)

all the other links are dead..

8notes.com has good electronic sheets.

I am sorry. I have looked around the web for it, but I guess who ever put it up there, has now put it down. If you would like to knoe how to play it, I can tell you the letters of the notes you hit if you would like.

have you tried youtube? there was a video that had a tutorial on how to play clocks. you may find other songs too-- but sorry not sheet music.
