Other people's values are always going to be challenged when you have opposing views about something (e.g. the abortion laws).

However, speaking ill of the recently deceased is just plain inciteful and uncalled for.

This is not even closely related to abortion though, it's someone's culture which doesn't affect you in anyway other than personal distaste, afterall you said yourself it's just a bit of clothing.

well I for one am sad that he's passed away. I was looking forward to his concert. (Not that I was going..but I was looking forward to reviews, clips of the shows, etc)

Speechless that's how his death has left me..
