AHEM!

i believe i wrote "I Wasn't Even Alive When I Wrote This" in 1942, which is what Coldplay not only copied, but stole completely.

I don't either... and it's not because they are popular and having lots of succes (did n't they back on 2005 or 2002?)... They have gone mainstream (which is not equal to popular); I just don't like the way they behave now, their concerts, Viva la Vida was good, but I just don't like that it was too commercial

i felt that way when the album came out...

I wrote viva in 1990 when I was in kindergarten.

I am sure you wrote it with crayons :P

I think what Crests is saying is that she would still like their music even if they were not played on major radio stations or played on the video networks. You know how you can like something that is not that well-known, as in worldwide, but is well-known in your area? I think that is what she is trying to say. That they didn't have to be famous, she likes what she hears.

That is true.

But don't you guys love the feeling that you have a band all to yourself?

That is true.

yes, makes me feel cooler

yes, makes me feel cooler

I actually do have a few bands like that, and I do feel cool

And thats what I'm saying, I wish coldplay were obscure like that :wacky:

Well... earth to raven, I suggest you to leave Coldplaying then, this site is really too mainstream

I know, since VLV more people know them, their music is more popular, but when you know them a bit you know that it's not what they're looking for ;)
