What to do when you take something too far?

Featured Replies

this is a very good question. and i will wait for someone else to answer.

Go for broke. Usually I only take things too far if I'm really pissed, and by that point there's no stopping it.

Stop when you realize you took it too far.

Once at a party my friend said his dad was out of town so we could crash at his place, I asked him where his mom was and halfway through the sentence realized his mom was dead. True story. I apologized and sat in miserable silence for a minute or two.

I go for broke and I think thats a bad thing.

Same here but even though I know it's bad I do it anyway. Can't help it really.

Stop. Show remorse. Try to make up for it. Just try, don't have to force it.

I sometimes go for broke. Other times I sit there in pathetic embarrassed silence.
