The pair - both keen charity campaigners who were instrumental in getting together Band Aid 20 for their charity cover of 'Do They Know Its Christmas?' - appear on 'Dove Of Peace', taken from Sacha Baron Cohen's latest movie 'Bruno...'. Studio insiders say Bono and Chris were so amused by lyrics to the fashion-spoof song - which include 'For people of Africa who live in Hell/ They will never wear Chanel' - they were almost unable to record their lines. A source said: "Chris Martin was laughing throughout the recording and only just managed to get his lines out. "'Bruno...' promises to be the funniest and most outrageous film this year and in it Sacha's character releases a brilliantly cheesy but subversive single - 'Dove Of Peace' - which mocks the likes of Band Aid. It runs close to the bone but it's very tongue-in-cheek." 'Fields of Gold' singer Sting is also due to record a part of the song, while 'Ali G' creator Sacha is keen to get his friend Madonna involved too. The source added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Madonna worked with him for her cover of 'American Pie', when he appeared in the video, and he's approached her to get involved. It will be quite a coup if he does. "If the film is successful, there's every chance the song will be released as a single." July 1, 200917 yr But the Observer magazine said something to the affect of "we can't say too much about the new Bruno film but it's not as much fun to make fun of Chris Martin when he's doing it to himself" Also "Bruno" has mentioned Chris in a few interviews.

July 1, 200917 yr It looks like it is true: Brüno’s Original Ending Was Even Worse Than the Coldplay Song Two weeks ago we learned that, at the suggestion of prominent Hollywood gays who were asked for input, Brüno's planned ending was scrapped in favor of a — SPOILER! — mock charity song for gay rights featuring vocals from Elton John and Chris Martin. Now, Movieline has info on the movie's original resolution and, no matter how you feel about Coldplay, you'll probably be thankful for the change. Very spoiler-y details after the jump. In the version we saw last week, the movie's final act has Brüno and his assistant-boyfriend Lutz consummating their love with a kiss during an Arkansas cage-fighting match, then getting married before credits roll and the song begins. But according to writer-director Richard Day — who saw the film in February and was asked by Sacha Baron Cohen and director Larry Charles for his feedback — the earlier ending went something like this:"The cage-match kiss resulted in a violent attack on the couple. They then cut to a press event where they are announcing their marriage or plans to, I forget which. But the boyfriend is now drooling, seemingly brain-damaged, and in a wheelchair, played for laughs."So, yeah. July 1, 200917 yr OK, I didn't see a link, but if you google IMDB and search for Bruno, the movie and the stats come up, if you scroll down, Bono, Elton, and Chris are in this movie, so it's true I guess, also I hit on Chris Martin's name and it came up, Under Filmography hit actor and it show's him completed this Shadow Play: The Making of Anton Corbijn (2009) (completed)

July 1, 200917 yr WHAT IS THAT??!! :shocked2: Well, from what I gather, Anton has done many documentarys with U2 and photographs and music videos with all sorts of Rockers, and Chris Martin is listed as being in this documentary, say's it was released in march of 09, but it might not have been as of yet, I haven't seen anything about it.
