Did a search and couldn't find a definite answer. Does Coldplay sell a gig poster at their shows? I'm seeing my first Coldplay show in 10 days at the Gorge, and I'm wondering if the band sells a concert poster at their merch booths? If so, how much are they and do they sell a unique poster for each show (e.g. DMB or Pearl Jam) or the same poster for the entire tour? Thanks for any info.

yeah, when i went last september to their concert they sold some posters :D i dont know what do you mean exactly with "gig poster" but yes they sold Coldplay posters :nice:

When I went to a show last year they sold generic Coldplay posters, like this (without the white border):

 

 

But I don't personally remember any gig-specific posters announcing the VLV tour.

well if u mean gig posters like just for the concert u will be attending then no!. but the second concert i went to they did have some just for the VLV tour. this is the one i bought. however i don't know if they still sell them or not.

That's an AWESOME poster!! When I went to a show in June they had one poster that I could see... Just one of the band from a photo shoot. Very nice, but no tour dates or anything to indicate it was from a concert.

I am going to my first Coldplay concert in 29 days! I am also wondering about posters...I will probably get one and maybe a t-shirt....

I think what he meant was when they're in concert, outside the stadium or wherever they perform they have a giant poster of them :thinking:

 

Sort of like when you go to the movies and theres a big movie poster, and they sell them or give them away when the movie isn't in theaters anymore.

 

Since they perform for only one night, some give them away, or more likely they sell them, since everyone who goes to a Coldplay concert, is a coldplay fan :tongue:

no, that isn't what he meant. and yes they did end up having two gig posters. maybe more. i only know of two. one for the carson show. and i think one for a canadian show.
