The VMA's sucked...the winners, the performances, and nominees. Mainstream music has really been flushed down the toilet. Why does MTv still have the VMA's when they don't even play music videos anymore?

 

But...I'll say this...if Stephani would just be herself....her real self, I'd have more respect for her. She has talent. But, I feel bad for any singer trying to break into the music business because you have to be a manufactured, outlandish poptart with generic music in order to get noticed. Sad really.

She's amazing! :) I love her. There's a reason why she's my favorite artist. She isn't shallow and diva-like like other aritsts such as Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, or Adele :uhoh2:

I found out about that this morning. I'm surprised she had the strength to conitinue another hour and a half of the show with all that noise and bright lights. She's such a strong woman :D

Yup, she's amazing. I was reading this thread and I was surprised by all the hate. It's ok to not like an artist because we all have different musical tastes, but why hate on her? She hasn't done anything wrong? It just pisses me off to have a woman with such a big heart hated on :cry:

And I respect that but I don't respect when people are like "Omg I hate her so much! Why does she wear that? What a freak. Go burn in hell" :angry:

 

I don't know maybe it's just because I'm blinded by how much I love her but I see absolutely no reason to hate her :P

i wouldn't call it hate even though people say they hate her or another artist in general. perhaps they're just using a metonymy

She's the most well-rounded pop star we have at the moment. One of my favorite artists since her debut. "Born This Way" is a very cool record and I loved its fearlessness and loudness. "The Fame Monster" is even better, more pristine clear and cohesive (as it is and EP). Well executed pop music with the talent and visuals to back it up.

 

I've watched videos from the Born This Way Ball and the show's pretty damn awesome.

 

She, as every pop star, may be hit and miss, but she hits it more often than she misses it; and every time she HITS it, it's on the spot.
