I actually just started re-reading the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy the other day and just last night got to the part where Deep Thought revealed The Answer. :)

today, we got in our car and my mom freaked out cuz her oil level was 42%

i was watching "Armageddon" on dvd and when they were dismantling the nuclear bomb, this guy was counting down the time left...he gave the usual, "one minute left!" warning, but he also said "42 seconds left!"

Me and my sister saw 42 on the back of a truck, but it wasn't in the licence plate number, it was just on the back!!!

I went out for ice cream with my bf and his sister. After she finished parallel parking, I look out my window and realize that the parking meter next to us is....NUMBER 42!! After finishing our delicious frozen treat, we go home and play a fun game of Apples to Apples [basically you get red cards with nouns and you must best fit them to the green adjective card. If the person who put down the green card likes yours the best you get the green card. Most green cards at the end wins.] I came in second with 42 cards.

I notice the number 42 everywhere... I'm sure it's always been there, I just notice it all the time now :laugh3:

 

Most recently I saw it on a train from Birmingham to Liverpool:

 

i once found a sticker about the size of an ant stuck to my wallet! it said 42 on it! i lost the sticker :(

Also in the double winning year for united 2007=2008 ronaldo scored 42 goals :D
