That flag(to many people including myself) represents the enslavement of a people and the hatred that African-Americans had to endure at the hands of the South. What pride can there be in a flag that represented so much horror to people.

Yet another naive person who thinks the Civil War was about slavery. *sigh* The war was just because Abraham Lincoln overstepped his bounds and put the federal government over the rights of the states. Because of the invention of the cotton gin, slavery would have ceased to be viable economically anyway.

I've seen my fair share of black people showing off Confederate flags, do you think they hate black people and want to go back to slavery?
