Oh, & back to RAIN OF LOVE, I have to admit I got puzzled by it, starting by its title.. All the time I kept thinking " Poor Jonny" that I got a bit annoyed of Chris being nosey:\ I got excited when both of them started to fight .. then I went back to the start :inquisitive: I even thought that I skipped few paragraphs accidentally:P Anyway, it was nice to read.. Your writing style is as said by everyone here is so professional & genius, so I am only here to agree..Sorry it took me so long to comment..

 

I've just read Rain of Love and I loved every piece of it :wacky: It's such a heart-breaking, angsty story, I was on the edge of my chair the whole time reading it!

 

Although I'm kinda confused by the ending, was Chris projecting his own life on the stranger (Jonny), or was he imagining the whole thing and named his nameless boy Jonny by accident? :surprised: Anyway, I like confusing stories like these very much! :cheesy:

and, well, Chris was imagining the interaction between him and coincidentally-named Jonny after he first walked under the bridge up until their fight, and he sort of did project some of his own life (his strained relationship with his brother, for example) onto Jonny in that daydream. :P

It was a nice surprise on a such a tedious day to find a new story by you Brooke. The window of opportunity was short, yet sweet & nice ..I think the title chosen was clever too.. :) I really like your writing style..

I have read some of what you wrote before : Substitute dad, the alley, water boy, but my favourite of them all was birthday candles..it had all the elements that I like; drunk Chris, surprise birthday party, gifts, friendship, sweet Jonny, a secret long hidden & a chocolate cake:D this was definately my favourite so far..you're truly talented:)

I just caught up on all the fanfics I've missed since my computer died last month, and HOLY SHIT they're all so good!!! All of them! The number one thing I'd missed when I didn't have a computer was these fanfics.
