September 11, 200916 yr What is Study Hall? It's an elective class in which you just sit around and relax/work on homework. Some teachers at some schools (such as mine) are nice enough to let you listen to your iPod. my actually won overall of all the games at the pep rally today :laugh3: but seriously, only my school would have a pep rally on 9/11 :dozey: My school didn't have ours today thankfully. Next week.

September 11, 200916 yr That's... weird... More like awesome. I just sit there listening to music, texting, and sleeping. Greatest class ever.
September 11, 200916 yr Yes but some students have other things to do after school (work, sports, etc.) so the extra free time is nice.
September 11, 200916 yr my study hall is run by a psycho :uhoh: but we're not allowed to have our ipods anymore :( or phones, but people do anyway :P this teacher won't let us sleep  some will though so far study hall has been boring because we haven't had anything to do yet, which is good

Lucky you. I got destroyed these past two nights. Yeah man, no using phones or sleeping in a STUDY HALL, what a psycho What's wrong with it? Some people need time to relax.
September 11, 200916 yr I still wonder how come students don't have enough time for homework and studying when they're not at school. :\ They work for the rest of day until they go to sleep or something?
September 11, 200916 yr I still wonder how come students don't have enough time for homework and studying when they're not at school. :\ They work for the rest of day until they go to sleep or something? Pretty much. We have school from 845 until 345...then some students have practice until 6 or so...then work until 10... My schedule isn't that busy (), but I still like having an extra hour and a half every other day to get my work done so I have less to do when I get home.
September 12, 200916 yr Tell me about it, pep rallies are the worst ideas ever thought in the history of mankind. My school even charges $1 for a "pep rally ticket", how the fuck insane is that!?
September 12, 200916 yr Author ^ why?????? My Study Hall rocks!!! :wacky: Our teacher doesn't care how much noise we make or what we do... We've actually had study hall like only 4 times since school started, we've been having double lunch... AND IT'S FOOKING HOT OUTSIDE :wreck: Homecoming pep rallies are the best <3
September 12, 200916 yr ^ Well, I think they charge for a pep rally ticket due to high number of people at the school, and for the gym's people capacity. The gym holds about 1500 people, and the whole school has about more than 3000 students, so it's basically an issue to put control with the gym's capacity, not really to profit from the ticket sales.
September 12, 200916 yr My school broke 2k this year. It was built (in 2003) to hold 1800. Poor government planning FTW.
