Selling my Coldplay stuff...

Featured Replies

Hey hey guys and girls! :)

So basically I haven't been a huge Coldplay fan for quite some time now and have decided to have a big clear-out and get rid of some of my old Coldplay stuff.

I'd like them to go to a good home so I wanted to post here first and see if any of you bunch would like to take any of it off my hands.

I can accept payment through PayPal, and as they are only magazines I don't mind sending abroad as it's pretty simple.

I'm only asking for whatever you can give me towards each magazine, maybe £1/£2, or simply just postal costs. I'm a broke student so anything I can get is great to be honest

The only things i'm asking a specific amount for is the first three magazines posted below, all from 2000 and quite rare now. They both go for around £8 on ebay so I thought maybe £6 for each of those.

Set of postcards, including one promoting Coldplay's performance at MTV April 19th 2005, which has a cool hologram effect thingy :nice:

£4

This was always my favourite poster I had...it's printed on really cool textured paper. Has a few small marks as it was on my wall for years but someone might want it regardless...

If you would like any of these items, please message me which one.

And I promise i'm no lunatic who is scamming you/will stalk you down :laugh3: I've been on this board for many years and i'm sure many people here will vouch that i'm not a psycho :D hehe.

I also have a small, black X&Y hoodie, and a blue X&Y blanket, that are both in almost brand new condition. I'm willing to sell them cheap if anyone is interested, again, please message me.

Thanks for looking! :wacky:

You are selling your stuff, Steph?:(

Hey! :) Yeah. I haven't been into the band much for a while now. Really not feeling their latest album or just what they've become. They're a very different band to when I first loved them. All of the stuff I have now just makes me kind of sad! I miss the old Coldplay, very much so.

No disrespect to the band...they've come a looooong way, and i'm very happy for them, but it's just not to my taste anymore. However i'll always treasure the first two albums and the dear friends I made thanks to them. :nice: I had some great times thanks to this band.

Hiya Steph, im really interested in buying all ur stuff including the top and blanket, how much do u want for everything?

Hm, I'm interested in the poster. Haven't gotten one yet, the ones out there seem pretty generic.

X&Y Hoodie!? :stunned:

Me wants :wacky:

this is so sad...

Soon, we too might grow tired of the band. Is just one of those things.

Yeah, I can see myself doing the same thing in a few years if this obsession were to wane. On the other hand, I still have my gigantic collection of Myst stuff from the period between 1994 and 2006 when that was my main obsession. No longer into it for obvious reasons, but I wouldn't sell those books, posters, T-shirts, CDs, etc for anything. :D

Still, I can't help but wonder what my CP collection would be worth on eBay... :uhoh:

Aww, Steph...that's too bad. I remember you back from '05 when X&Y came out.

I hope you would still hold on to your stuff...you never know!

If someone hasn't grabbed your hoodie yet....I would love to.

i hope no

anyway :\

 I don't really see it as sad. I've just grown out of the phase I was in, and I don't like to hoard too much stuff that I don't need :) I prefer things to go to a good home where they will be used.

Plus I still have a lot of stuff i'll never sell, like my signed tshirt, old singles, the 'Jonny Buckland: Lord of the Guitar Strings' banner I made for him that he took the photo of at Isle of Wight :nice: and other items that have special memories.

Pretty much everything has been snapped up now. I have offered to those who messaged me first about each item. If any of those fall through I will message the next person, and so on...

Best Wishes, and hi to those who remembered me! *waves* xxx

Awww... this is sad.. But I have to agree with you for some extent. Yeah, they've changed and sometimes, me too can't hide how I miss the original Coldplay.

I'd like to get some of those stuffs but I'm also a broke student like you :dozey:

Aw Steph, that's nice of ya. A lot of current Coldplayers will love getting this stuff, I'm sure.

...I remember you taking that trip to work with sharks, was it? And you happened to be working with a girl that Chris had a thing for in high school? :laugh3: Ahhhh, the days of '05-'06.

I'm not too worried about how much they'll be worth in the future...someone else can make some nice money from them, if that's the case :)

KM!!! How are you love? It's been so long. Hehe yep, I did indeed go to work with the sharks! And yep, I met the woman who's brother was friends with Chris, and Chris had written her little love letters when they were at school, ahhaha. So sweet. :nice: I'd actually forgotten all about that until now!

The '05/'06 days were great, we used to have such a laugh on this board!
