just listened to the album in full. absolutely incredible stuff. they've got this post punk minimalist sound that is amazing.

i honestly cant get enough of this album. initially it felt as though im just falling for the hype but after a couple dozen listens, it sounds better than ever. i've just realised how brilliant some of the bass work is. i really like the packaging on the album also.

yeah mate got it from JB. it was $18. my local store only had 2 copies of the record.

the bass reminds me a bit of Interpol. i don't know maybe it's just me.

i know this has been the big hit and everything. but i cant get enough of Crystalised. Islands is another favourite of mine.

Crystalised, Intro (oddly) and Islands I just can't turn off!

and VCR. Great instrumentals throughout the album, I think.

This band is amazing. I'm speechless.

yeah im with you on this. but sometimes you need a gentle hand on the shoulder instead of an all night romp :thinking: thats when the xx come in. :D
