I came home after a long, hard, day to find a package waiting for me. It took me a while to realize where it could be from, since I do sometimes get gifts for the holidays from other friends online... but didn't know anyone from Russia.

 

But this is possibly the best thing ever! Thank you Vera, you're amazing. I'm still trying not to jump with glee. :)

I was just expecting a card, but I go this adorable box with all kinds of goodies. And a post card.

 

 

Butterflies! This is amazing because even though I was fortunate to be able to see Coldplay (on my birthday, too), I wasn't close enough to where they released all the butterfly confetti. And even though I always thought they were cute, I didn't realize exactly how cute they are until you actually hold them in your hand.

 

Candy, mittens, and more butterflies. Those chocolates are delicious, btw.

 

A weird, mitten, high-five! I've never actually owned mittens before, but I was talking to my friend today and telling him how cold my fingers are. (Okay, well, Texas cold. Which is about 40 degrees... so I guess not really much of any cold to non-Texans.)

 

 

 

 

Thank you so much, again. This was the sweetest thing ever and I really appreciate it all. :D

(Also, the whole "with love" thing and, you know, "From Russia..." It was so hard not to make a James Bond reference.
