wedding bells

Wait - I've figured it out!:smug:

"." (dot) in the email responding to the RSVP email = Five (dot; = Morse Code for letter 'E and , E is FIFTH letter of the alphabet)

SO

"." is the number of people in the Martin / Paltrow household when the new baby is born

NO WAIT !

'Dot" is short for Dorothy, which is not what they plan to name the baby (regarless of gender). No, "." won't be short for anything - just " . Martin "

Of course "." is pronounced "dot" in English. So it'll sound just like "Dot" when you say it, but it's really just "." when you write it. I wonder if s/he will like Prince.

(I wonder how 'dot' translates in other languages - hmm - must Google)

Maybe not!

(puts on thinking cap again)

Wow! Haha...To think if these incredible thinking powers were used for something else /more productive........like world domination. :laugh3:

Interesting speculation, though :D

What do you mean "though"?

And don't assume that I don't use these awsome powers for many other creative things like world domination. There's no shortage of this brilliance - relax!

I meant though as in "in spite of what I just said..." Yeah, my style of speech doesn't translate well to informal writing. :P

I'm glad to see you're using your powers well. :P

Keeping on topic...no, I have not heard back from the mysterious RSVP. :\

"WEDDING BELLS" is an anagram for "DEBS DWELLING". Obviously we're going to get a virtual tour of The Oracle's house. :laugh3:

It's also an anagram for "DEBS WILD ENGL", which reinforces previous theories that Debs Wild does indeed live in England.

This is a conspiracy approaching Da Vinci Code levels.

Haha, brilliant! I love how people come up with stuff life this! :D

Another Awesome one! Imagine calling your kid "."

"No no, it"s not spelled D O T, you just write a dot." should be so confusing. :)

I love all the theories here

But I really think it's time for them to give us a new hint... Come on guys.... Give us something! Anything!

'Dot" is short for Dorothy

These are both Australian things, so maybe they are trying to tell us they are moving to Australia:D

I wish.

Maybe the boys are joining this?

I know, we are the subjects from a scientist study : "What the fans can do ".. and a scientist asked Coldplay to do that !:laugh3:

Madness : Level 10 !:laugh3:

I do not know where it will bring us but it is cool ! :P

I only hope we're not searching too far. Maybe the 'request the pleasure of...' is just a nice way to welcome visitors to the site. And the RSVP is just an address to contact Coldplay, that suits the theme of the 'request the pleasure of...'. Maybe there is no hidden meaning at all.

Am I being too negative? :\

Nah, not negative, maybe realistic though.

There might be indeed nothing hidden, but I still like to think there is. It's fun speculating and making up theories, isn't it?

Yeah, it is !:laugh3: I love it ! :D

^ Yeah, me too! :D

But even though we could stop and be realistic and say that it's just a nice way to be greeted to the website; anchorman said that there was going to be some exciting things coming our way. :smug:

That's right!

And the dot must mean anything, right?

Let's keep speculating :D

I had forgotten he had said that!!!

Well, he has to keep his promise, doesn't he? :)

And I hope that by 'exciting things coming our way', he didn't mean 'more puppets pictures' or simple news about TV appearances... :dozey:

Let's hope something BIG is gonna happen!

Those ******s from coldplay.com won't reply to any of my e-mails... Well, they can suck my dot!

:laugh3: I'm going to use that line now:D

Chris and Jonny are finally going to get married and Jonny's pregnant with Jon Bon Jovi's baby! :idea2:

I knew Chris was telling the truth back in that 2005 Rove interview:lol:

Hahah yes!

And he's inviting all Coldplay fans to this wedding YAY

.... in our dreams :laugh3:

Lol, yeha I wish:D

I wonder what Phil would think of this thread:lol:

Hi Phil if you are reading this!

we come in peace....

honestly

Hahaha I dunno....:sneaky::D

Let's be clear that there are 2 mysteries here now.

1) What is the meaning of the RSVP?

2) What is the meaing of the "dot"?

Two possibilities come to mind for a wedding - Jonny and Chloe are finally getting married, OR Guy has found wife #2. A 3rd possibilitiy was mentioned above - that it's about the relase of "Wedding Bells".

The dot is (also as suggested earlier) 'E' in morse, 'E' is the FIFTH letter of the alphabet - 5 is the number of the studio album they're working on, and then there's Phil, the band's 5th member .....

The dot could also be a period - THE END! But I don't think so.

Seriously, I haven't heard this much anxious and desperate speculalation since the "Paul is Dead" speculation of 1966. I love it! They call us fans (short for fanatics) for a reason!

Wow great ideas Ziggy!

More great stuff!

Oooh maybe.... A dot also means an end...

So maybe the person who got this dot as a reply was the last one who is invited for God knows what!

Latin-American tour announced! That's exciting, even though I'll probably not be able to attend any shows! I hope they have something for us Europeans as well! :) :D
