Ive been in a verbal fight, but never physical

although I started arguing with a salesman at Brookstone the other day about the Viva Lawsuit and what a greedy hack Satriani is.....

and... all other occasions are just when a former friend of mine would get REAL defensive about Mariah Carey Twilight and all other sorts of nonsense

K- Im going to a Mariah Carey concert

Me- ok

K-and a Britney Spears concert

Me- I never saw the point in seeing an artist who lip syncs. OOPS! *clasps hand to mouth

K- Chris Martin has lip synced before you know!

 

Me- k first off this has nothing to do with coldplay, your just getting defensive again and attacking the first thing you know i like

 

second, they dont lip sync, if one member gets sick the whole gigs off

 

third, you need to stop bringing everything back to coldplay just because my opinion is different from yours and you cant handle it so you act immature and defensive

uum, i have :uhoh: i burned some coldplay cds for my friend, and she really liked them, so i started talking about them more with her. i thought she liked talking about it, but obviously not. shes sort of the type of person who only likes discussing thing directly related to her:dozey: but anyway, after a while she was just like, "stop talking about coldplay. thats all we ever talk about. youre obsessed." she was TOTALLY overreacting, im not kidding. she just couldnt stand me talking about anything i was actually interested in, besides her. bitch. haha:lol:

 

a month or so later i was on her computer at her house and saw the coldplay songs i gave her (she SAID she didnt really like them) had like 100-200 playcounts! :stunned: aarrghh, shes a freak.

 

but i try not to bring up coldplay in everyday conversations, honestly. it just makes me seem like a weirdo and/or they start dissing them, and it makes me angry.

My "friend" does this a lot. She likes Japanese stuff. So when I start to talk about Coldplay she always gets all defensive and says something like, "Well, (some random Japanese singer) is better!" I guess some people are just like that...... I've never had a fight with someone that I didn't really know about Coldplay.

I had pit tickets to a show in New England and was driving from NYC with a friend in her car to the show. But, the night before the concert her boyfriend got Red Sox/Yankees tickets in Boston. Obviously she rather would have been there with a whole group of her friends, but didn't want to let me down and ditch me. (it was considerate and i appreciated that, but i think i could have found someone else) but once we got there she just stood with her arms crossed and listened to MUSE on her iphone. I felt bad because she really felt like she was missing out on the sox game, but come on how often do you get to stand 10 feet away from one of the biggest bands in the world???

 

Maybe I'm a crazy person but that was an annoying moment. (incase you are wondering, we're still good friends hahah :))

So you insult your friend's taste in music, and when she rebutts and says something about Coldplay, you say she's done something horrible and you complain that people need to respect others' tastes in music. All after you insulted her favorite artists.

We all have got in some sort of fight about Coldplay.

People don't really mess with Coldplay and I anymore, cuz they know they'll be wrong anyway or another :smug:

Me being a Coldplay fan has spread around the ENTIRE SCHOOL. Even all the teachers know how much I love Coldplay. Teh same thing happens to me all the time with the lip sync thing. :veryangry:

Most of my friends call me 'stalker', 'obsessive', 'insane for COldplay' and crap like that all the time.

Once I punched a boy in my class in the stomach for shouting "Coldplay sucks"... The teachers didn't care though, he gets into fights everyday... :p
